About as biased as one can get,and obnoxious to boot. He would have been goose stepping with Adolph & turning in people who spoke out against Hitler were he alive in Nazi Germany.A well paid cheerleader for the Neo-Cons,unfit to lick the boots of REAL Americans.
jadams0546 09/14/2009
The guy is amazing. He tells it like it is, keeps his guests on topic. Generally he's spot with his analysis. Can't help but love the fact that he is CRUSHING the competion. Keep on keeping on Bill!
john blenkiron 07/25/2009
Again, another underrated journalist. Americans just don't appreciate listening to an objective reporter.
JoeSchmoville 05/21/2009
What you have to consider is that we are now living in a total "US against Them" society, unfortunately. Our attention spans have drastically diminished, our critical thinking has all but disappeared, and our appetite for reproach has become hopelessly insatiable. Too many people with personal agendas, ill-informed opinions and ill-conceived logic invade our lives. News organizations have alywas been somewhat invasive...this is how they get their story, this is how their story is heard. But today, the stories are not presented objectively. It has become a power grab... whoever gets more people to agree with their opinion -and watch their show -wins.That being said, consider Bill O'Rielly a sucessful entertainer (he currently holds 2/3 of the audience). He is just using today's tactics, which basically is to be loud, obnoxious, stabbing and brief. He does it with a conservative, and somewhat independent opinion. When compared to Matthews, Maddows, Olberman and Hannity, O'Rielly is downright centrist.
irishgit 10/20/2008
I could carve a better journalist out of a turd. This guy, like Olbermann, et al, is a perfect example of why American television journalism isn`t worth a pitcher of warm spit.
Roarofthunder 10/05/2008
Do I smell bullshit?
ChildOfSatan 07/07/2008
A right wing robot who spends 75% of the day with his head up George Bush's ass and the other 25% spouting out conservative propaganda and stating (ahem!) that Bush will go down in history as one of the greatest presidents of all time. Yeah that's great Bill, I hope you're bought and paid for by the right wing party like the rest of Fox News is because if not it just means that you have gone completely insane.

The best.
wellstone 12/10/2007
At #178, I think he is being over rated. The Factor can not be considered a "news" program, because it is filled with opinion.
frenchiefastwa ves 10/15/2007
If you really think O'reilly is trying inform people, you probably think Ronald Mcdonald wants you to enjoy an healthy diet. He speaks for the right only, screaming that anything that doesn't sound conservative enough is part of a masterminded evil plan from the leftists to control the poor media...That's as funny as a brainwashed redneck can be!
chekpnt 09/25/2007
Sup here in L.A. watch this guy a couple of times but dam he makes some good points. I love hiphop/rap, he doesn't but hell,he makes point and backs it up with facts. Feels like am in school again when i watch him lol. I was gonna just give hime 3 star but i question the ones that gave him a one star...sounds like haters not very openminded...lol so 5star to off balance the closed minded haters.
Pearlgirl 07/29/2007
O'Reilly is a complete Asshole.
Momsandpopscal lmeJoe 06/27/2007
O'Reilly is an example of why people hate conservatives. He takes it to the extreme and doesn't listen to any reasons except his own. I watched his show and he was talkin' about Chris Benoit. O'Reilly wouldnt let the other guy get a word in the convo and he kept screaming. And its hard to listen to a guy that complains about Americans lack of morality when O' Reilly himself sexually harassed his co-worker. How was this guy not fired for that??
1dragontat 06/25/2007
He's ok but tends to obsess over celebrities and then says everyone wants to hear about it, bullshit. He also takes the most insignificant news story and tries to turn it into something major. And I notice when someone answers his question and its not what he wanted to hear he gets mad.
brickman 06/24/2007
not as good as when he started i think he has gotten too big of a head usually reports things that are important to all of us that go unreported on the mainstream media outlets has championed some good causes but does over promote his books and his store overall better than his competition in his time slot 8:00 est
the1hotness 05/30/2007
O'Reilly is the shiznit! you just entered the no spin zone.! the guy should be equiped with a billy club to whack guests over the head. The guy is violent.............. and I like it.
WarmHand 04/27/2007
Maybe has some good points, but just won't shut up.
sealady 04/25/2007
An obvious liar. He can't even remember his own lies!
93century 04/09/2007
This is actually an update to the comment i made about a reality show idea that they should take Bill O'Reilly, Geraldo Rivera, Chris Matthews, Maury Povich, Phil Donahue, and lock them in a house for 30 days. After i seen the recent video clip on Youtube from the O'Reilly Factor news program that featured Geraldo, and Bill O'Reilly in a heated arguement about illeagal aliens it got me thinking about the idea. I could just see O'Reilly creating drama in the reality house about somebody else useing his toothbrush. Personally, i would not use anybodys toothbrush. I would use it to clean the toilet instead!

GenghisTheHun 02/14/2007
He has some good moments, but then will go off on a tangent and rail about some minor point for days. Bill, get over it! Also, please don't be so full of yourself!
Victor83 02/14/2007
His shows can be very entertaining, but on balance Bill thinks a little too much of himself. I lost a lot of respect for him when he interviewed that waste of skin, Michael Moore. It was such a softball, horrible excuse for an interview, i had to wonder if they were drinking buddies. However, he usually tries to air both sides of an issue. For that I give him credit.
zztops 02/14/2007
In Bill's own words, "It's obvious...He is un-American". He twists and makes up his 'facts' as he goes along. His points are weak and easily transparant. He will never have the strength or courage to stand up to his Republican neo-conservative friends. He picks on people rather than intelligently debating a topic.
abichara 02/03/2007
He's not that bad of a communicator. His views are a bit too right field for me at times, especially when he goes on his rants about promoting a more traditionalist society more akin to European conservatism, which is frankly anthetical to anything the founders of this country ever wanted. But he's not being an ideologue on everything. O'Reilly calls it as he see it, give him credit for that. He is against the death penalty and is an environmentalist who believes that our natural resources are being severely overtaxed.
reaverto 01/30/2007
I liked O'Reilly a long time ago when he pointed out moral outrages. He then devolved into a mouthpiece for Bush, so disappointing. He should do a TV with Dennis Miller, they could work on lowering eachother's IQs.
VK 11/22/2006
No Crediblilty, lies, ignorant of the issues, bad grammar.
minkey 11/09/2006
Regardless of whether you agree with where he stands, you have to be impressed with this guy's debating skills. I've seen all kinds of people go on O'Reilly with cock-eyed optimism, only to get completely beat up on. You can sometimes catch the expressions on the victims faces; like they wish the had a turtle shell to curl back into. And I don't think it helps that he dwarfs 99.9% of the population.
doobiesNhof 11/03/2006
Pompous, arrogant, know-it-all, right wing Bush lover (even though he claims to be an...Independent!!?? What a farce!! Come on Bill, you know who you are!! Stop trying to pretend you stradle the fence and get off of that high horse of yours and admit who you really are. After all, FOX pays you the big bucks because you lean to the right. Otherwise, you wouldn't be working for them.
blue47 11/03/2006
Another wind bag. Self righteous and full of it. Just the kind who gets caught with a young boy bent over the couch
johnsmith75 10/04/2006
bill-o is a jack ass and should taken off TV
jojosf 09/26/2006
a total windbag, ill-informed and obnoxious -- and those are his good points!
rubensainz 08/12/2006
he was so a great guy to listen to, but in the last 2 years he became too much of "primma donna", now he is laughable, perhaps as a comedian he would get better grade
PaulHW 07/03/2006
I see alot of tags being pinned on O'Reilly but little examples of why. It looks like more peole have personnal reactions of his demeaner than what he is actually says.
jerry reeves 05/21/2006
Refreshing to hear the 'true' story. I see why his program is #1, can't these other print and media learn from FOX that most real American's cannot be brainwashed?
MattShizzle 05/21/2006
An obnoxious bully, liar and right wing nutcase.
LetsGoRedskins 2006 05/06/2006
It seems all the people supporting Bill keep on bringing up "liberals" as if it were some sort of slander. I am not liberal. I voted for Bush in 2000, voted for a GOP senator in 2002, and Kerry in 2004. My beef with Bill, despite what all his supporters think, has nothing to do with politics. My problem with O'Reilly is his attitude. His is rude, obnoxious, loud, and he uses half his show to report on himself. What other host would use his show to respond to editorials that criticized him? What other host yells and rants during "interviews" then says "I'll give you the last word" as if he were doing the guest a favor? And what other talk show host has the audacity to call himself "no-spin". We all have biases, we all have ways of viewing the world-recognizing those biases (something O'Reilly is unable to do) is what makes you a better reporter. I would rather watch someone I disagree with engage in a civil discussion than watch someone I agree with engage in a noncivil discussion. Most people would. I would have no problem with Bill if he kept his cool and acted like an adult-but he can't. Who actually watches this guy?
RobWire 04/14/2006
What a convulted ignoramous. No thanks.
jetstream 04/08/2006
I used to love watching this guy for his straight talk. I like that fact that he was not politically correct and told it like it is. I stopped watching him after I began to notice a definite slant towards a republican-only agenda. It seemed no matter what the republicans did they were always right and the dems were always wrong. I am sorry but if the republicans have been right on every issue in the supposed unbiased, "no spin" zone then Bush should get the nobel prize for astro physics research.
jimorama 04/07/2006
See Webster's defintion of "Swine".
RaterX 03/21/2006
My favorite bulldog journalist. I used to watch Chris Matthews all the time until he turned more openly liberal and hate-filled. Bill O'Reilly has filled that void of a sharp-minded, tough get-to-the answer journalist that is essential to our freedoms.
getgoing 03/14/2006
He is full of lies and inconsistantcies. He is soooo arrogant he wouldn't know the truth. He has lost his mind, theatening to send Fox security to a callers home for mentioning Keith Oberman on his radio show.
chili2 02/08/2006
Major assh*#%! Self-righteous hypocrit. Two words define BOR - Andrea Makris.
Frank in NJ 01/24/2006
It is mind-boggling how anyone can listen to this liar. He tells his audience he was in combat when he was just a reporter in a war zone. OReilly makes millions off the ignorance of his audience. Then again this country elected a liar as president who manipulated his audience-the American public.
sunstorm1001 01/08/2006
Someone should brand a big red "L" on his forehead for LOSER!! I mean, go David Letterman who recently told him on-air that 60% of what he said was crap--I only would correct that statement to say 95% is crap! And, he is a pervert to boot, who is he harassing sexually now??
stubailey 01/05/2006
A pompous, overly conservative idiot with a very big mouth
MariusQelDroma 12/30/2005
O'Reilly is one of the few hosts that doesn't talk over his guests constantly and let gesats do that to each other. He also will not tolerate beating around the bush when it comes to answering questions. I tend to watch the Factor a lot more then other cable news shows as a result. I don't agree with Bill's politics at times, but I do like that he respects people enough to let them have their say, unless they are totally spinning an issue. That gets almost no airtime on his show, and that I like. PS: If you want a "loudmouth bullying blowhard" to pick on, you probably want to talk about Hannity. UPDATE: Chuckn, if you can point out the cut points on a recent edition of the Factor, you can have my paycheck for January (money's in my bank and staying there).
