Hannity is making a fortune by dividing the country with lies and distortions. He constantly interupts the Democratic guests and then pretends he wins the argument. He is pandering to Rush Limbaugh's flock of sheep, the 'Ditto-Heads'. He tells them what they want to hear and they walk away feeling that all their biases are justified.

Anyone ever wonder why all these "Conservative" talk show hosts never served in the Military? Anyone every wonder how you can have integrity by drinking the Bush Kool-Aid?

He is very complete with his reporting but he is to loyal and thats not what people are looking for. Sure we need coverage fair and balanced but just because your conservative, republican, etc. doesn't always make you 100% right and that's how he always and I mean always comes across.I used to love his reporting but not anymore. When he comes on I change the channel! Get off the loyalty kick Sean! People want the truth whether it's good, bad or ugly!

Someone in the forum mentioned that Hannity had something to do with the production of porno films. Is this true or just a character slam. I despise this redundancy spewing radio creep. He and those like him will spell the doom of talk radio. Three hours-a-day for Boortz, three hours-a-day for Limbaugh and three hour-a-day for Hannity, where the hell is the fair and balanced?

Hannity has a moral center that makes the godless left uncomfortable because he does not back down to the perversions that the left seeks to impose upon our American culture. He speaks out against those whom seek to destroy us, yet does so with a sophistication that is not intended to create enemies. I have witnessed him engage the left with dignity and grace... sadly, if the left would only recipicate in kind.

Probably the dumbest of the neo-con radio/TV attack dogs and, unlike Michael Savage's foaming-at-the-mouth psychotic routine, I don't think it's an act. This former bar-tender is full of tenacious, shrill belligerency, which might be an efficacious propaganda tool if he had the IQ of a William Buckley as opposed to that of a Joey Buttafucco. Then again, the audience this type of media personality targets never seems to demand too much from its right-wing icons; certainly not accuracy, truth, or logic. On a personal note...Sean does "weird me out" a little bit more than most of these people because, physically, he's a dead ringer for my late grandfather, who was also a conservative. Unlike Sean, however, my grandfather, a World War II veteran, was a pretty intelligent guy, and would probably be ashamed that the ideals he espoused and fought for are currently being "upheld" by such brash, pompous and mendacious curs as Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, and others of that depressing, dogmatic ilk.

To sum up several posts here is my point. The November elections of `06 should have told this jerk that no one is hanging on his every word for who to vote for. My G.. when in the hell will he realize that at least 80% of America does not want this war. He`s like the kid in school we all knew. The one who was a poo butt until he met a couple of upper class kids who let him be their pet.Now he`s a poo butt with money looking for his own pets. But these pets will be verbally assaulted and dismissed if you bite or scratch back. A social climber is just that: someone who will try to climb the social ladder, stepping on anyone who gets in his way to get to the top. After last years elections he was in total denial ,if not shock, thinking that HE was the republican mouthpeice and still not accepting defeat IN THE HOUSE AND THE SENATE. What a jerk. No wonder Savage insults this jerk"wallbanger". Bush could announce today that he`s reinstating the draft between the ages of 12 and 80 and Vanitty would cosign the bill. At the same time he would not tell you why, only that Bush said so and thats that. I loved the Bush interview, also Pawn really went at him with the vigor of a mad mushroom:(. So let us not question our president with this same contempt that he reserves only for callers to his lame ass show. I was just begging for him to ask Bush why he allows our borders to be so porous, why nafta, cafta and safta are sucking jobs out of this country faster than mike levins career. I`m not done posting here but I need to mentally clean the slate of vanittys chalk board.

I was going to write a review about Hannity's position on the issues and the way he expresses them but first I decided to look back on the last 60 reviews to see what other RIA members had to say about him. We have been told countless number of times that it is the liberals who are the most tolerant among us, they are the ones who embrace diversity and respect people of opposing viewpoints. In looking over the reviews, liberal tolerance for Hannity included words and phrases such as "Highly irrational, closet supremist," "liar," "douchebag ," "Lying hack for the RNC," "Self righteous windbag," "a jerk...total robot," and "fundi-Nazi." In fact, two reviewers attacked me because I watch Hannity's program, saying "He is not an idiot, but his audience certainly is." and "I guess some people aren't blessed with the ability to accumulate knowledge and decipher bullskiiit." (Don't get mad at me, I'm just repeating what has been written) Based on what I read by Hannity's liberal critics I now understand that when liberals say they are tolerant of opposing viewpoints, what they actually mean is that they are tolerant of other opposing liberal viewpoints and when they say they embrace diversity, it means they embrace other liberal perspectives. I also discovered that those people who were most critical of Hannity limited their criticisms to Hannity as a person. No one had anything to say about his position on any subject although a few reviewers did comment on Hannity's support of our troops. Not one person said anything about Hannity's opinions concerning our borders, terrorists, health care, abortion, or politics in general. Therefore, based on what I read, the only conclusion one can come to is Hannity's critics hate him as a person, but do not disagree with his stand on the issues.

Certainly he says some good things some times. However, he wrote a book called Deliver Us From Evil. He, of course, takes the title from what has come to be called the Lord's prayer. My problem with what he has to say is that his method of deliverance from evil is not the same as the passage that he borrows his title from. In this prayer is the request for the will of God to be done on earth as it is in Heaven and forgive us as we forgive others. The prayer is to God for the deliverance. Hannity has directed this prayer more toward trust in politcal strategies of war and hunting evil down and killing it where it stands. Sean, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. He needs to retitle his book and quit borrowing from Jesus who said "they that live by the sword will die by the sword." I know many mistakenly think that "broad is the way that leadeth to destructin" has to do with soul salvation, but really it has to do with choosing military resistance over the way of the Cross.

I don't think much of Hannity. If I thought that he was really trying to create dialogue between liberals and conservatives, I might rate him higher. But he seems to be little more than a bulldog ideologue, pushing his beliefs and attacking anyone who disagrees. That's not dialogue; it's "why conservatives are always right and liberals are scum". Hannity is characterized as some great debater who "pounds" his political foes and wins every time. I'm convinced that in a real debate (not the shouting matches that you see on Hannity and Colmes - real debates where each person is given the chance to fully state their case), Hannity wouldn't win. Up against a liberal who isn't afraid to say what they really think and unable to cloud the issue with red herrings or personal attacks, he would have nothing left but to rely on actual arguments to defend his point of view. I also have to say this about 'Hannity and Colmes': having Ann Coulter on the show to talk about liberals is like having Captain Kirk from Star Trek to talk about Klingons. Neither Kirk nor Ann like Klingons or cut them much slack. Because of that, you can't expect a balanced judgment of the Klingons from Kirk or a balanced judgment of liberals from Ann. Case in point: I remember reading online that Hannity once asked a liberal point-blank whether they think our country (the United States) is the greatest country in the world. When the liberal tried to explain his point of view without providing an automatic 'yes' answer, Hannity simply concluded, "that's what's wrong with 'The Left' today". It came across as though Hannity expected this person to give an automatic knee-jerk response to this answer, for fear that they'd be labeled a "traitor" or something worse. Now, I love my country, but I think that it's too easy to simply say that the Us is the greatest country in the world without proof or consideration about the rest of the world. In short, I'd rather keep my essay-question opinions on political matters and leave Hannity to his multiple-choice opinions. Another reviewer said that liberals "run" from Hannity. Yeah, you're exactly right. They run because I think most liberals would rather have an honest discussion about the current state of politics with a person who respects them and their views - even if they disagree - than a person who belittles and insults them in a "holier-than-thou" way because they disagree.

I'm really not crazy about Hannity. There was a time when his stridency was called for and deserved by those on the receiving end, who had enjoyed the advantage of being able to shout down and mock any conservative who appeared on a political talk show. Those days are gone. But, do you morons who associate conservatives with Nazi's and Hitler think you appear to be intelligent by those statements? Ann Coulter to talk about liberals is like Hitler to talk about Jews? I hadn't realized that she had tortured and gassed liberals before. You guys must think you sound worldly or well read. Does it work the other way? Do stridently outspoken liberals get compared to the great communist butchers like Stalin or Mao Tse Tung or Pol Pot, just because of their beliefs? Fair is fair, children. But I wouldn't anticipate any intelligent exchanges with anyone on RIA if your main point uses such idiotic, hyperbolic metaphors. Grow up.

No more than a paid mouthpiece for the Bush Administration. Does not have one opinion that is his own - strictly talks from the white house playbook. Must have been beat up all the time in school for being the school wimp. Mark my words - one day something in the way of the scandals that surrounded Rush Limbaugh or Bill O'Reilley is going to come out on this guy - he is WAY too high on his horse - and is due for a fall.
