They burnt the tastebuds and skin off my tongue. I only had 5 or 6 and my mouth was burning. I looked in the mirror and my tongue was raw and bleeding!

I like sweet tarts. The problem with them however is that, after a few candies the citric acid they release really gets to your mouth and tongue and almost causes a burning feeling.

Little more than little cakes of sugar but one of my favorites. I prefer the old school kind that came in the foil envelopes. There were assorted, grape and the king of all candy flavors, cherry. The long tubes aren't bad (both the blue and green ones are nice) but they don't have exactly the same texture as the old school kind.

Sweet Tarts are most definately my favorite "sweet candy" on the shelf today. I always want a pack of the origional Sweet Tarts when I go to the grocery store- they are simply awesome!

sweet tarts are good. however, some are a little too tangy and pink ones taste like the fresheners they put in public restrooms urinals.

A truly superb candy, this tart candy is excellent in that all flavors taste good, especially the blue and red ones. Over 20 in a pack for a discount price.

I have to smile when I see old traditional candies like this are still on the shelf. They take me back to the age of 10 when we cashed in soda bottles at the grocery store and immediately ran to the connecting drugstore to spend the money (no holes have ever been burned in my pockets!). More times than not it would be on candy and much of the time one of my selections would be Sweet Tarts. I still buy a pack now and then because they're still the best sweet and sour combination in the world of candy.

Sweet Tarts aren't even OK anymore. They are so annoying and hard to digest that it's not funny. Spree Candies are put into a hard shell that cracks once it is disolved in your mouth. Sweet Tarts are dipped into a sour powder with 30 different acids in it, that doesn't dissolve in your mouth, and lays in your stomach causing you to get constipated.

I think that the Chewy Sweet Tarts are my favorite kind of candy. I like the red ones the best, but they all taste good. They should replace the lemon ones with orange though.

Sweet Tarts may seem like a nice, innocent little candy, but they have a mysterious dark side. Did you know that if you crush Sweet Tarts into a powder, then snort it, you'll start seeing purple raccoons? At least that's what some guy told me in junior high school. And we all know that junior high school students are never wrong.
