I cannot stand her on the News Hour on PBS. She is so obviously a Republican. I like not knowing what political views the news commentator has. Unfortunately, Judy Woodruff makes it all too obvious with her soft ball questions to the right leaning guests and giving them so much more time than the more central or left leaning guests. I want equal treatment to the guests, regardless of their opinions.

She served beyond her time. Modern hosts can't get away with what she pulled off.

An excellent, objective, moderate voice who provided news rather than infotainment. She was willing to question her interviewees until she got an answer, rephrasing as much as needed to take away their wiggle room. Her presence on the airwaves will be terribly missed.

I want to call her Judy, but she deserve a lot more respect...Ms. Woodruff has contributed so much to the world of journalism, especially on behave of women journalist. Before people start judging her, maybe they ought to get to know her because they'll find out some of the great things she's done after the cameras turn off. After almost 30 years of reporting on the not so friendly world of politics, Ms. Woodruff is still one of the nicest personalities in a Washington, DC news bureau.

I know someone who knows someone who works at CNN. This person attests to the fact that Judy Woodruff died of progeria some 15 years ago. Poor thing also had osteoporosis. Woodruff is a good journalist because she is willing to grill guests on both sides of the political spectrum; I have yet to see any politician get a free pass from Judy when most interviewers would toss out softballs and call it journalism. She isn't abrasive like a Fox News anchor, but she can ask the tough questions, and that's why she's had staying power. I'm not surprised that so many people have given her hell since she is one of the brave few willing to stand up to the right-wing media, she's been labeled a liberal hack. So be it. I'll take Woodruff over Bill O'Lie-ly and Brit Blowhard anyday.

Like a Rolex, Ms. Woodruff is a timeless classic. She typifies sophisticated and is an excellent role model for up and coming broadcasters. She is beautiful in a matronly sort of way.

Ms. Woodruff is so very, very beautiful! That and that alone is what it takes to make it in TV journalism. That's not to say she doesn't do her homework, no not at all. She's very adept at many items relating to her interviewees...

Top rate professional....Judy would be the person you'd want sitting at the anchor desk with any breaking news story....calm, informative, and smart as they come.

An embarrassment to journalism - I wish I could give her minus 5 stars. Ms Woodruff stands as an icon for everything wrong with CNN and most media journalists today: She is blatantly, utterly biased. She is quite obviously a left-wing apologist. She appears incapable of reporting much beyond her own opinion. Her interviewing style is fawning and gushing when with a liberal - and jittery, interjectory, accusatory and abrasive when interviewing a conservative. I have seen her twitching and beside herself with rage during interviews not going "her" way, with a look of absolute anguish on her face. If any dictionary still contains the archaic term "yellow journalism" it should have her picture next to it.

Perhaps you are all right about her leanings but she is the most skilled at her profession. Knows the subject well and asks intelligent questions. Compare her with Connie Chung and let me know how she rates then.

This rating may be harsh and maybe I'm letting my conservative politics get in the way of being objective, but Judy is such a transparent apologist for the Clintons and such a left-leaning propogandist, there's no way she should be sitting in a news anchor chair. Maybe this is what happens to you when your married to a fellow-traveler like Al Hunt. Regardless, Judy Woodruff is perfectly representative of CNN -- the Clinton News Network. If you like that stuff and that propaganda, you'll love Judy.
