gob stoppers are the best candy ever if you do not like gob stoppers you have not lived yet.also all this new candy sucks. who makes this stuff come on.

Bah. These were never quite as cool as they looked in the original movie. The taste wasn't anything to write home about, last time I had any. And the whole "everlasting" part of the famous Gobstopper moniker? Sure, if you're a bacteria that only lives for about a week. The thing loses its various tastes kinda quick, and you're left with a stubborn little flavorless core after about 10 minutes of enjoyment.

It's more annoying than fun to eat. If I'm patient I can enjoy these, but I get the feeling that I'm just waiting it to break open and give the flavor inside.

A teeth killer. i dont touch these things as a adult and never cared much for them as a kid except the willy wonka gobstoppers were pretty good.

pretty good stuff. wouldnt eat them all the time though- they start to taste funny after about half of the bag. overall a great candy.

I really like the fact that the flavor actually changes as you get through each layer, not too mention that they are a respectable size. They actually fit into your mouth as would normal candy, unlike jawbreakers. However, they tend to get boring after a while. Nevertheless its a good candy to have sometimes.

These are OK. I've had better jawbreakers.

A classic from childhood. preferred the powdery candy middle of these over the bubble gum centre of Jawbreakers. the best layer was the red one just before the candy middle, it took true skill to reach it and enjoy it without biting into the centre.

One of my top two or three candies. I love the flavors, both inside and out. I wish they made them a little bigger.

These don't taste like anything, and they are proven to be able to kill you! They take forever to shrink down to normal size, and they are so tasteless. There is like no sugar in them, and they are never one color!

I like the kind with the chewy middles.

What can I say? Gobstoppers are my favorite candy. Willy Wonka comes up with the greatest ideas for some candy. This is the candy that only costs 65 cents and you can suck it for hours and never get tired of it. Willy Wonka is sick with it!!!

This hard candy has great taste appeal. Not only does it change colors as you suck through different layers, but the flavors change as well. The flavors taste real, so lemon tastes like lemon and lime tastes like lime.

Gobstoppers are excellent. I think they are underappreciated b/c they are so often mistaken for Jawbreakers which have a horrid taste (no one was more disappointed at Halloween than the kid who arrived at my door when only jawbreakers were left...). Anyway, I can eat a whole lotta Gobstoppers -- delicious!
