i used to eat these a lot but when all the gum came out in stores I said goodbye forever to these. I want something that freshens my breath and these just dont do it. Its one of those fads and this candy will die by 2010. Id rather have junior mints anyday

the commercials were painful to watch. Maybe they were funny the very first time but afterwards it was like watching Dude Where's My Car on repeat or something. The mint is pretty good, the texture is really what makes it - crunchy on the outside but really smooth chewy and almost creamy on the inside - both the mint and the fruit flavours are reminiscent of other candies similarly flavoured.

They're mints, just mints, and not very good ones either. Plus people say those commercials were UNBELIEVABLY STUPID AND ANNOYING on purpose...whatever, they alone will keep me from eating a Mentos ever again.

Mentos aren't really candy. There more of a breathment. They serve thier purpose well. The commercials are painful to watch.

These things just don't meet the hype. I like the concept and the texture but everyone had been talking them up for so long, it was almost an instant disapointment. The mint flavor is artifical and the size is prohibative. Why carry around a 6 inch tube about as awkward as a flashlight when you can fit 30 smint or tic tac's in somthing smaller then a pager. I really hate the commercials too, time for some updating.
