05/01/2008 | A good candy as a kid and I still enjoy them every once in a while. I get them whenever I see those small vending candy machines and I have a quarter handy.

11/08/2005 | Runts are good because they're fun! Each flavour has a distinctive taste and is shaped in the fruit it represents. As far as I know, Runts are the only candy to do so. Also, the hard coating on the powder pellets make for a new texture which allows your tongue to stay intact and not become completely irritated by the dissolving powder as you eat them.

04/06/2001 | Runts were very imaginative, but they were a total failure. Wonka Candies has come out with some strange candies, but they have all turned out to be sucesses, except for these. Runts are candies in shapes of fruits, with the fruit's flavors. Unfourtuenly, the corn sryup in the candy takes the flavor away, and it's like your sucking on plastic.

01/30/2001 | My favorite candy to steal from the Trick or Treat bowl - but I try to be nice and save a few for the kids too! All of them taste like the fruit they represent, but the banana is best. Hard candy that is safe to bite. Love them!

11/22/2000 | Runts are just bad, I mean, have you ever eaten the banana? The banana is the worst one, and it's always the most abundant! Yet it doesn't really matter because they all taste the same anyway. I mean, yeah, they may be cute and all but it offers no sugar rush, no taste satisfaction, it's just a blah candy without any pizzaz.

06/26/2000 | This is my favorite "gumball machine" type of candy. When I used to go to a bowling alley in high school, I considered it lucky to have my mouth full of Runts when I was bowling. They should probably warn consumers against that in the packaging (or on the gumball machine as it may be). In any case, these are good but I'd never by them in a store. And the banana ones are pretty gross.
