I think I'm allergic to skittles. I know that sounds ridiculous, but seriously. The last time I ate them (circa 12 years old), my throat was raw after about a quarter of the bag. That's not natural :P

skittles are good...just like starburst. they are from the same company so i can say that i like them the same...no competition...skittles are a hard shell but soft once you suck on them for a while!

Skittles are but an ok candy. I find starburst better for its smooth taffy like texture while skittles have a granulated jelly bean feel. Also, although the flavours are intense, and as in any fruit-flavored candies some are better than others(to each his/her own), they get somehow boring. If I'm offered some I'll take them and I like them but I don't miss them once they're gone.

These are a sugary, gritty nightmare.

gross. Too sweet and gummy, sticks to your teeth in an unpleasant manner. probably made by the same guy who made nerds.

A little overrated. There's nothing very interesting to the taste, but somehow you find yourself finishing off an entire bag by yourself watching TV, reading a magazine, or whatever, oblivious to the taste. They're too small to be savored, too. However, the new mint Skittles varieties taste better than the fruit flavors, to me. The downside to Skittles is although they contain little fat, they're loaded with sugar and not much else in the way of vitamins. If overheated, the dye starts coming off and really stains. Go on, try it! Put a few Skittles in your palm and close your fingers around it for a minute or two, then try to get the stain off without soap. Stay away from the Sour Skittles - I was eating some, and the acid in them literally burned off a piece of my gum so my mouth bled and the roof of my mouth was all scraped up, too, from the granular sugar coating them.

Great, addicting, chewy, fruity, tasty, gob of gustatory fun. Hard on the outside but soft to chew as it transforms from the hard shell into the slightly crunchy (at first from the shells) taffy-like mouth watering gob of pure candy: Skittles are good and Skittles are FUN!. Try the sour ones for an extra zing.

I love Skittles and their delicious fruity taste! Besides, they have no fat and cholesterol, unlike most chocolate candies which makes them a little better then most other candies!

I love these things, and I used to cram my mouth with as many as would fit in there. This was our favorite thing to sneak into a movie theatre too.

Skittles are simply too sweet for me. Children love them, because of all of the sugar that the skittles maufacturers put into this candy, but I would prefer Reese's Pieces or M&M's any day.

A cavalcade of delightful tastes swirling through your mouth. So many choices regular, tropical, etc. Combine two flavors to get a sensation of your own design, or eat many of the same color to get a fruity blast.( not the kind medgarevers gives)

I can only have a few Skittles at a time..forget about eating a whole bag..I simply couldn't do it. I can hold my sugar..but Skittles are just too much. The deceiving hard outer shell holds a soft chewy fruit center..but if I want a fruit chew, I would prefer a starburst.

I've been on a Skittles kick lately. I like Skittles because the flavors are intense and very sweet and they are low in fat. I can eat a few Skittles and feel completely satisfied, while other candies (e.g. peanut M&Ms) cause me to lose complete control. Skittles aren't as sticky and difficult to chew as Starbursts, and I like their small size and hard outer coating which doesn't melt in your hand. All of the "flavors" are good, but I especially like tropical Skittles. In fact, I can't think of a single way to improve this delicious candy.

I certainly don't taste a rainbow when I eat these things. I mean, they're not the worst candy out there but they are far from the best. They are just too sweet and they leave a funny taste in your mouth afterward. If I eat too many of these, I start to feel sick.

Skittles have kind of aged over the years, but they are still a great candy to enjoy eating. I could eat an entire bag of skittles without any problems, but Skittles have a dye in them that can actually stain skin. I'm not kidding, in fact you have to wash your hands after eating these.

Skittles hardly taste like fruit. They taste like something, and it's not bad, but I can't really tell what it is. All the flavors pretty much taste the same, with minute differences. And they're somewhat powdery, like Pixie Stix. They're not bad, but not great either. I'd rather spend my money on something else.

I eat these every night after my dinner because it tastes very fruity. I can make my mouth very fresh and feel comfortabe, even if I eat very oily food. Also, it is very cheap compared to the amount you get. Also, the color is very cute. I like the blue packaged ones especially!!

Skittles are a great candy. They have many different flavors, which you can distinguish between the different colors. All the flavors are intense, especially the red color. They are really easy and fun to eat and the bag they come in are attractive.

Skittles are great. "Tasting the Rainbow" speaks for itself. The variety makes every bite worth it. 50 cents for a pack, and the amount given also plays a factor. You could eat one by one or a handful, and it will still taste as great. New Skittles evolved from different packages, variety to a whole new look and taste (the sour Skittles). Two of the best of both worlds. A sweet, mouth-watering taste.

If you need something lighter than chocolate, this is a good idea. The main problem is, if you are not careful, you can spill them. They come in many flavors, but the original is the only one worth it.
