similar to kit kat they are made by same company. comparing them there is more to eat in this but there is coloring could be bad for you. dislike the candy layer inside is better.

This is more of a fun snack candy. Something you'd find in a candy jar that you have when you want that instant candy rush. I've enjoyed this candy in my candy sack as a kid, but I mainly enjoyed it more when I was a kid.

Love them during halloween and had like 150 of them going out on Halloween but as a adult I have no craving for them at all. Most of my review are based on what I liked as a kid.

There's 2 kinds of smarties so here's what I think of both The sugar candies: They're ok, I wouldn't buy them but as a kid I always finished them off as part of my halloween candy though (most of the time among the last of it however). They all taste the same and the colour, and taste, is kinda faded but they are alright once in a while, not too often. Chocolate Smarties: Good quality chocolate inside but not enough of it, the shell - although better tasting than m&m's shell - is too thick. I find m&ms somewhat better but the two candies are extremely similar, right down to their promotions around various holidays.

These things are great, but I find myself not being able to stop eating them, and I eventually wind up feeling a little ill because of it. I've never eaten enough of them to burn out though.

I used to buy a HUGE bag of these and go through them like they were going out of style. But now, I have basically weaned myself from them. I also used to nibble on them until they got down to the nitty gritty. And when I was younger, my aunt used them to help me learn how to swallow pills. If you like to eat them like you did when you were younger, brush your teeth and brush them good.

Smarties are not as good as Sweet Tarts, and their taste is a bit bland. However, I will never turn anyone down who offers me a pack of these things.

There's confusion here, because some people are rating the M&M like candy coated chocolates (found in England and apparently Canada), and some are rating the sugar candies that come wrapped in the little plastic twist. I love those little sugar pellets--it's true they don't have a lot of flavour, but I find them addictive!

These little choco-tablets used to be much tastier when they were still manufactured by the Roundtree company (in Canada). Since Nestle took over, the candy has become somewhat bland.
