Let an Immunity Challenge determine the winner 1

The worst idea ever. Then there's no jury.

I think this could be an excellent idea with a few modifications to the rules. When the number of survivors gets down to 10, all of the 8 that get the vote go to the jury. Then in the event of a tie at the end, allow an immunity challenge to decide the winner.

NOOOOO!!!!! B/c let's say they're down to the last two. In this case a Gervase look alike and a Rudy look alike. Who's gonna win??? No big suprise. Rudy will lose BIG TIME, b/c he just doesn't have the physical capabilities to beat Gervase! Then we'd all know the winner before he/she won. The jury makes survivor more interesting and strategic.

I don't think letting an immunity challenge determine the winner is the way to go but I don't totally agree with having it be a vote by past cast members. I mean I thoroughly believe that if it had be Rudy and kelly or Rudy and Rich that Rudy would have won but he got booted, I think, precisely because of that. Kelly knew she wouldn't win against him and she probably figured everyone hated Rich so she voted Rudy out thinking she was sure to go home with the cake. So Rudy, the guy who I think should have won, got squeezed out because he was too good! I mean Rich keeps talking about how well he played the game and how strategic he was but in reality it's maybe half that and half luck. There are two instances that I know of where he would have almost certainly been booted despite his strategy. 1.) when he won immunity the week that Gervase wen t instead. and 2.)the last episode where is either he had won immunity or Rudy did he would have lost in the end. I think they should end it by letting the person who has won the final immunity challenge decide whether or not they want to face the tribal council for votes or put it to a physical challenge that would be between teams made up of the council members and would then divide the money amongst the winning team. That way you force them to make a decision at the final moment. They could try and go for the full million or have 4 other very determine people on their side for a final game and walk away with only 200,000. The tribal council should choose whose team they each want to be on. Or something like that...you take it from here.

Nonono --- the final vote is how it needs to be --- it should go down to the jury of peers ... this shouldnot be decided by the PHYSICAL, but by the MENTAL ...

Bad idea. The jury aspect is crucial as it provides that "full circle" element - you have to watch how you treat people, because it may come back to haunt you, even after the person has been booted off.
