I think it would be hilarious to see "princesses" like Britney Spears and Hilary Duff trying to Survive on that show! :)

Having a celebrity edition of Survivor would be good for a laugh but the stars of Hollywood don't have much of a problem with the not eating much thing. They should make it the day-time talk show celebrity edition. Rosie, Oprah, Dr. Phil, etc.

I think celebrities on the show would be great. However, let's up the ante. How about a show with nothing but celebrities. Give them guns and let them shoot each other. I'd like to see the same principal applied to politicians and criminals.

A Great Idea! Have Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Etc, in one tribe and pit them against Alan Jackson, The Dixie Chicks, Faith Hill, etc, in another tribe!

Yeah, having Bob Denver do a walk-on will give this show all the credibility it needs. Right.

They should have Bill Clinton on there and they should burn him at the stake, other than that no celebrities.

Munson - I agree with you on this. It would have been a hoot to have Bob Denver and his Gilligan character show up. -But I have to add that I think any more celebs and it would kind of ruin the show. Gilligan would make sense because of the common theme of castaway etc. - so just have only Bob Denver on one or a few times as a special suprise guest. - Like entertainment for the Survivor people- they could ask him questions about the stunts on the show etc. and in turn he could ask them questions etc. And also have a Gilligans Island Trivia challenge etc. -BUT THATS IT- NO OTHER CELEBS - unless it was a totally celebrity edition of Survivor. That could be very entertaining! Maybe a classic tv edition: Tribe 1: The Lookimabacka Tribe: Valerie Bertinelli, Gary Coleman, Tony Danza, David Cassidy, Catherine Bach (Dukes of Hazzard), Bob Newhart, Alan Alda and yes- Bob Denver. Tribe 2: The Imastillonna Tribe: Regis Philbin, Martha Stewart, Ted Danson, Kelly Ripa, Bob Barker, David Letterman,Jay Leno and Kelsey Grammar.

Maybe for one episode; it'd be good to see how the survivors react to the Celeb! But I think itz stupid when they put celebs on shows like this.

This is a reality show. Gilligan would only make it cheesy

They do that on Big Brother on survivor and it is a flop --- now for having a WHOLE SURVIVOR cast of celebrities, then they just end up acting the whole time trying to get roles in HollyWood.

I'm all for the idea of including some celebrity guest stars on Survivor II, but I'm not thinking along the lines of Gilligan... I'm thinking along the lines of an "Immunity Challenge" where the cast members get to chuck spears at Kathy Lee Gifford or something. Or maybe a "Reward Challenge" where the cast members earn a 12-pack of Bud Light by saving Bryant Gumbel from a kangaroo stampede. If they don't save him then nobody gets the beer, but everyone's still happy! That's called a win-win, people.

I think all of the celebrity guest hosts should be Playoboy playmates from the past year.... and they should be naked on the show. CBS would blow any ratings records away if they pulled this off. Screw coming up with an intriguing TV show idea, it is all about naked women on network TV!!

How great would it have been had Bob Denver, in his Gilligan garb, shown up on the island? It would have brought some humor to the show and the castaways would have been psyched to see him.

Perhaps have a celebrity host each week...One idea would be to have Susan (truck driver) return as host and whoever "lost" the immunity challenge would have to go to a bar and have a few beers with her!

Just as the Simpsons benefits from celebrity voices thrown into the ridiculous plots, so would Survivor benefit from a celebrity or two leading an immunity challenge. How funny would it be to see Wilfred Brimley leading the "Eat the Bug" challenge?
