Having spent a number of years as an engineer building and repairing computers I can honestly say that these were some of the worst one's I've ever repaired in terms of build quality and the quality of their components

I used to have an E-Machines computer and i actually still do, but it is broken so it sits in my room taking up space. It worked fine for about a year, but then it slowly started to decline until it completely broke. It has no internet, and the video card in it had been changed 3 or 4 times and still doesn't work right. We took it to Geek Squad and they were no help. If you want a coputer that will last about a year and no longer, an E-Machines computer is for you. If you want one that works for a long time, forget about E-Machines.
