Fran Drescher is O.K. as an actress. She truly is an original that's for sure.

Her resilience, fabulous. Her looks, WOW! She really is beautiful...on mute though.

I like Fran Drescher, but I don't think she's that great of an actress. She's basically just a hot chick that they stuck in a gawd-awful sitcom to keep straight guys from changing the channel. The only reason I gave a 3 instead of 2 is because I have to admit it worked on me.

The package looks good but the personality and the voice will put of a sailor who has been at sea for a year off.

Frantastic. Her very tragic past (raped at gunpoint, cancer) and her way of overcominig them give me tons of respect for her. She totally doesn't feel sorry for herself and always puts her best foot forward. Also, one of the most beautiful woman out there. Voice, schmoice...she gets the last laugh as she can do it all the way to the bank. She worked hard for her success; she deserves it.

Fran is a very nice and kind person--down to earth and very intelligent. She doesn't act like a star and doesn't take herself too seriously. She's had to overcome obstacles in her life but doesn't feel sorry for herself. I'm not a big fan of her voice or laugh, but I like everything else about her. She is also an extremely beautiful woman--gorgeous. When I saw her in _Jack_, I was amazed by her extraordinary beauty.

Once upon a time I really didn't care for Fran Drescher, but over the last couple of years I have been reading so many positive things about her, and I never hear anything negative. I think she is alot more down to earth and human then alot of people think. I wish her good luck in the future. Seems like a nice lady....

I LOVE the Nanny. Yeah, go ahead and criticize it for being a sitcom based on a hot woman, whatever. It's funny and it entertains, unless you're snobby nose is so high in the sky that only droll, 'elevated' humor is all you respond to. Plus, read the excerpt from her book. How many of you who gave bad ratings can say you lived through something like that, or could even speculate living through such things simultaneously? Nuts.

Nothing memorable just the nauseating laugh.

I was lucky enough to meet Fran last year in Chicago during her book signing tour. (For those who don't know she recently wrote 'Cancer Schmancer' which candidly details her experience and recovery from uterine cancer.) Border's bookstore was PACKED (estimates range from 200 to over 400 people). It was 7 p.m. and we were told Ms. Drescher had a long day travelling, making public appearences etc and she's exhausted therefore due to volume of people there would be no time to take pictures or converse with her. So to get her out before the store closes all she would do was just sign your book and you would move along like cattle. Well when Fran arrived she lit up the room. She may have been exhausted but she did not outwardly show it. And when one 'enterprising' young fan shouted out "Fran can we take pictures with you?" without a moment of hesitation Fran replied cheerfully "Absolutely!" We all got the time to take a picture with her. She was extremely patient with all her fans. I heard one incident where a fan was going thru a similar experience with cancer and Fran took extra time to give her encouragement during and AFTER the show. Since the majority of people in line were woman I highly doubt this was an isolated incident. Fran is truly a woman with a heart. She may be a 'star' but she acts like the 'common people' To say, as one reviewer did, that she is egotistical obviously comes from ignorance. As for her acting ability, well many people seem to believe that in 'real' life she acts just like her character on 'The Nanny.' I must laugh for this alone speaks volumes for her acting ability. As for her voice, as if that matters in anything.... well to look like she does and talk like she does makes her one of a kind. She is unique in a world of copycats and wannebees.

Hot. The Nanny was a bad show but she is ok. I liked her in Spinal Tap too.

Thank God the Nanny is off the air. What a no talent, whiney, self indulgent, egotistical actress. Jesus, her voice alone drives me to drink, heavily. If I ended up on a blind date with a woman with a voice like that, damn, I might consider vocal violence!

Arrgh! Fran Drescher cowbines an irritating voice, and bimbo-gum-chomping harshness that almoost manages to hide her marginal(if at all) talents. Listening to her talk is like hearing fingernails scratch a chalkboad - a very long one! :=8P

I confess, I like The Nanny. But I am really not surprised that you don't see her too much anymore. Kind of one dimensional.

For Frannyv, this was probably her,out of what I know,only and most likely last role. "The Nanny" was a hit in the beginning but it's numbers and plot decreased until the end. Obviously you gotta take points off for that voice. I'll put a gun in my mouth before I have to spend the day talking to her. Then we had to de ja vou with her all over again with that actress who played Janice in "Friends." Second, I never really liked "The Nanny" and I think she played herself which isn't that great of an accomplishment so Fran you get two stars.

Fran's voice throws people off but I think she's a good actress and she needs to do some movies.
