 | roblayton (0) 03/29/2007 | Bonnie is the best sideline reporter in the business and she can host Jim Rome show on television. She can cover baseball and college football and she should host her own talk show.

 | ville41 (0) 05/30/2006 | Not only is Bonnie one of the hottest female sports reporters, I think she is one of the most knowledgeable. I think she has always done a good job. I think she should be used for more then just sideline duty.

 | SeanDMan67 (0) 03/08/2006 | On TV appearances alone, she's near the top of the field along w/ Suzy Kolber (without a doubt #1) and Michele Tafoya.
On reporting she's below the reporter fired from Idaho covering the ice fishing tournament that pronounced her bosses name incorrectly while reporting that he'd won some prize.
I was introduced Bonnie a few years ago at a Boomer Esiason fundraiser and while she's an incredibly stunning beauty, she's also one of the biggest snobs known to man. Does this effect my opinion about her professionally? Sure, bit but she's really nothing more than eye candy for the horny fan at home. Her reporting sucks, her on screen personality sucks, so she better rely on those looks for a long time!

 | KJL (1) 10/19/2005 | disgust4PCness is right on the money! I think she has to be the most overrated sportscaster/sideline reporter/sports candy whatever she is out there today. She is on the decline anyway. I seriously doubt her sports knowledge people like this Ken Coleman guy put that stuff out there because she goes to a couple of NFL and college basketball games. She is a sideline reporter for a reason dude and not a very good one at that. There are a few more things I could say here but I really don't want to waste space or time talking about a someone who doesn't matter in sportscasting.

 | disgust4PCness (19) 10/17/2005 | UPDATE:
AHHH, Ken Coleman WCOA Radio, Pensacola, FL...you have justified all of the time that I spend here on RateItAll. I sucked in another liberal who thinks they know something about anything. I am honored to see that you are paying attention to me. See what happens when a guy like you gets internet access, Ken...you look like a fool. I'm not alone, Ken Coleman of WCOA radio in Pensacola, FL...many people think she got her job on the casting couch and through a little federal regulation for people too incompetent to get a job on merit alone. In fact, the majority of people that voted her above a ONE did so b/c they think she is HOT, not because she is talented and knows her stuff about sports. Give it a rest, Ken and get your hand out of your pocket. I may be an idiot, Ken, but at least I'm right. Just because you might have a "Go Bonnie" poster on your wall doesn't mean you have to defend her. Oh, and Bonnie did cover women's basketball...so, I was correct and you were incorrect. Finally, if you truly know as much about women's basketball as it appears you do, I wouldn't walk around impersonating a sportscaster...perhaps you should try Entertainment Reporter or Diversity Reporter or Athletically Challenged Reporter.
My ORIGINAL Comment:
Anybody ranking her above a ONE is just as clueless as Bonnie. If I could give her a ZERO, I would. This woman makes more mistakes than Kato Kaelin or Tonya Harding. Most of her mistakes can be attributed to two things (in my opinion, that's what this site is for)...
1) She's clueless
2) She wasn't (and still isn't) qualified for a job that she got through affirmative action policies at the network or providing "favors" to the execs
3) Her script needs to be written at least 5-10 min before she needs to repeat so that she has time to rehearse it...however, situations in a game may change by the time she actually recites her lines...therfore, making her look foolish while she thinks she is being so insightful. Perfect example...I am currently watching the Colts - Pats playoff game, beginning of 2nd half (Pats 6, Colts 3...that is a fact), Nantz and Simms just went to Bonnie...who opens with the comment this is only the second time this season that the Colts have been held scoreless in the first half. FYI, Bonnie...the score is 6-3. Perfect example of what I am speaking about. This script was probably written for her with a minute or two to go in the first half, before the Colts got into FG range.
Yeah, she deserves her job. Stick to women's basketball, nobody watches it. Move over Ashlee Simpson, you've got company in the world's biggest bimbo contest.

 | EschewObfuscation (71) 04/04/2005 | Stepped on her tongue recently when asked which of the NCAA Regional sites she would be assigned, said she hoped it wouldn't be Syracuse as there was nothing to do there and it's always so cold. Many bars, particularly near the University, had signs and other lampoons up to mock her for such a slam against the city. Harry's Bar had a huge sign outside saying BONNIE: KISS MY HARRY'S A$$. Ah, the hallowed halls of academia.

 | spartans (0) 02/04/2005 | I can't give her anything more than a 1 until she gets a real job. Sideline reporter is a throw a woman a bone job. Go back to ESPN and do SportsCenter or go to FSN and have them create a show for you. Then I'll take you seriously.

 | kcsportscaster (0) 01/23/2005 | See what happens when idiots such as this disgust4PCness are allowed to have internet access???? Bonnie Bernstein does NOT need me, a local radio sports and news anchor and reporter, to defend her, but you, disgust4PCness are waaaaaay the hell off base in your comments about her. First off, Ms. Bernstein one of the most knowledgeable and most prepared people on sports television, and is very well respected among her peers as well as those in the sports world, especially in the NFL for her overall knowledge of sports, especially all things NFL. So what if she made a couple of MINOR errors during last Sunday's Colts/Patriots game. She obviously meant that it was only the second time all season that the Colts OFFENSE has been held scoreless in the first half all season. Last I checked, the field goal/extra point unit is considered special teams, NOT the offense!!!! And NO, she does NOT need a script given to her by producers on what to say!!!! Oh, and you are reeeealy such an expert on what sports Bonnie Bernstein covers on a regular basis, aren't you???? She hasn't covered women's college basketball since the 1998 Women's Final Four when she was still at ESPN!!!! Not only do I NOT find your ignorant assessment of her useful, but I don't find you useful either!!!!

 | slickwillie71 (0) 06/03/2004 | They do need to give her something besides the sideline work. If CBS tried hard enough, she could be another Hannah Storm, but that window of opportunity is closing there at the Eye for that. Her sideline work is above average; not Tafoya nor Kolber, but in the upper crust. Bonnie is still a babe. That won't change anytime soon.

 | DiamondDavid (0) 04/04/2004 | LOL at the comment left by Lisa Guerrero. All kidding aside, she doesn't resort to What did you say to your team at halftime? and has a good amount of sports knowledge. She seems more comfortable and in her element doing college basketball, as opposed to football. She's also the most beautiful sports announcer and seems genuinely nicer than a Lisa Guerrero, so she gets props for that.

 | Sideline Superstar (0) 09/22/2003 | Its bad enough that they don't just throw a tube top on Bonnie Bernstein, but to have her write her own questions is a true crime. How many times at halftime is she going to ask the coach who is ahead by 30 points what he is going to do differently. In the Final Four in Minneapolis three years ago when Maryland was manhandling Duke in the National semi-finals, Bernstein was up to her most famous trick when she asked Gary Williams "Coach, what are you going to do differently in the second half against this outstanding Duke team?" Luckily Williams was quick to point out "Differently???? Nothing, we're up by 20!!!" While I'm not sure if Bonnie really has much of a clue about anything other than how to look good in my mother's wardrobe, I am quite certain I'd still rate her a "1" even with a tube top. Nice try girlfriend!!! Keep up the good work.

 | css5241965 (0) 04/21/2003 | Bonnie has obviously been taking pointers from the other CBS mega-jerk, Jim Grey. Her handling of the Roy Williams interview was totally low class!!! | AndyHoops (0) 04/08/2003 | Whether or not she had someone in her ear, she was OUT OF LINE with her badgering of Roy Williams. His team just lost the national championship. Roy was a lot more professional than most coaches would have been. Consider yourself lucky that all he dropped on you was an S-bomb. I think she and Jim Gray went to the same Journalism school!!

 | robbo (0) 04/08/2003 | HA! Roy Williams of Kansas put her in her place. If she had any balls, she wouldn't have asked the obvious question because she would have known that the obvious question was not on the minds of the average viewer, but simply something that media jerks like her had to ask because OTHER media jerks like her told each other during the week that it was something that really mattered to people. She is just a twat-head, and most of the other male sportscasters are dickheads. Why do you people waste your time and pay homage to retardos?
(1 voted this helpful, 0 funny and 0 agree) |
 | swish (0) 04/07/2003 | Could anyone believe how cold and callous Bonnie was in her interview with Roy Williams? What a assh*le she showed herself to be. She asked the question once of the coach and got his response, but then she had to press it. What an assh*le. I suppose she would defend herself on the basis of some kind of ridiculous and vain journalistic responsibility. Who is she to put Roy Williams on the spot like that?
She is nothing but a lousy, 2 bit, sideline reporter and now I know her to be a self-important assh*le.
What a bitch Bonnie is !!

For some reason, a high pitch voice doesn't overlap well with a game filled with testostone. I appreciate your knowledge of the game Bonnie, and I'm sure you have an impressive resumee, but no matter what you say I'll still flip the channel. As for the "she's beautful" part, you're watching FOOTBALL, the beauty pagent is on another channel.
