Right up there with commercialism on my list. Let people have time with family, for God's sake.

I work for a school system. Not an issue for me!

Alternating having a job or losing a job when it's time to purchase Christmas Gifts.  Canada-Annex rocks.  So happy I moved back here after the Corps.  NOT!!!

i don't mind working. in fact i volunteered to work them all this year so those with families still at home can have the time to make holiday memories. i'm a sap. its also more money for me.

I use to work in retail all through undergrad and even highs school,and I found it made me dread the holidays every year..I was off Christmas day and thanskgiving,but my goodness the day after both were pure hell..

I happen to have a job now that gives me weekends and all holidays off. However, in the past I have had to work on plenty of holidays, and it is a bummer.

Oh boo-freaking-hoo. Get off your ass and pay cash for a change. After all, Santa Clause has to pull an all-nighter (a few times, if you know what I mean)...

Not while I'm self employed...

So many people, for various reasons, have to.....but this really sux.

Worked in a supermarket as a teen and experienced the unpleasantness of working through the holidays. . .I swore that as I got older I would have a job where my holidays would be left alone. . .

Sucks, but there are just some jobs that you can't take a day off from.  People/pets can't choose when they get sick . . . .
