Football is mostly a good thing on the holidays.

Ok. Now you've done it. Can somebody please tell me what football has to do with lumpy gravy, family gossip, Uncle Bob passed out with his pants down, while Mimi and Ken Snot going on and on about their cutsey-tootsey pomeranian, "Mr. Shoot-the-f***ing-thing-with-a-sling-shot"? You know...for some of us, football is not about the game...it's about the volume.

Nothing ruins a good holiday like everyone glued to the TV watching a football game.

Football is just fine by me.

okay I know there are all those "bowl" football games they have around this season.  it was not so bad when they had a few but now they have so many where the heck do they put them all. I do not mind one or two. these have gone overboard. glad we do not have them on all the time.

The NFL is okay, but that Thanksgiving Day game kills it for me, with that damn CGI turkey. Since the Lions have played the game since 1945, it's usually an irrelevance ... Maybe if they fed the loser to real lions, I would actually pay attention. And try getting a seat on the couch after all your fat male relatives have plopped themselves down with their bourbon bottles.

I'm not a football fan. I'll give this one to the guys.

Contrary to what many here may say...American football is proof that God exists. It also proves he is kind...what better way to ignore that "Hey honey" that rings in your ear from over the recliner?

Football is a tool of the devil
