holidays are not the season or the time to get or give a pet. a pet should be a well thought decision and plan. too many of animals given as gifts land up in shelters or abandoned.

This problem is easily solved by not getting your kid a dog for Christmas. If you want a dog, get the puppy in May or June, so that it can be fairly large by the time cold weather hits, and keep it an outdoor dog.

Goes well with the baby crap. Also, good excuse to pretend you saw NOTHING....get up, get a beer...all the while pretending you did not hear her say "Hey honey".
