For some mysterious reason, American men have become afraid to wear clothes that fit.
This is more of a gender thing, than racial, although the trend begun by white boys in southern California was first picked up by black men in professional basketball who now wear what appear to be cullotes on the courts.

I'll disagree to some extent. While the trend in black fashion during the 90's was baggy and loose clothing, the current trend is more tight fitting clothes. Spend some time observing groups of black teens, and you will see plenty of skinny jeans and tight hoodies. Also...the group of women that embrace the "ghetto booty" usually wear tight clothing to accentuate that part of their body. So while the stereotype of black fashion is pants falling off of the ass, I don't think the idea of blacks loving loose clothing is always true.
