America changed after JFK was murdered before our very eyes. It is important to know who did this but the most important thing to remember is that it happened. They say America lost its soul during those troubling times. All those names that seemed to swirl into a storm-Nixon, Johnson, Oswald, JFK, King, Hanoi, Ho Chi Min,Mao, Hoover, Marilyn Monroe, the grassy knoll, military-industrial complex, and body bags. It all makes me shudder still. Remember when we used to trust our governmentalmost without question? Dark dark days my friends, followed by mistrust and conspiracies.

The guy was just barely in office when he was murdered. The guy who bumped him off also got bumped off in return shortly thereafter.
Unfortunately, his brother Bobby didn't fare so well, either. Incredibly sad stuff.

JFK's death seems to tint modern society in the US if you will. Mistrust of government, cynical people everywhere, conspiracy everywhere you look, the list goes on.
