I did not, and could not, vote for a narcissistic verbal abuser who can't control his temper and seeks to control by intimidation.

Age not being a factor...yes

The only thing that could be worse for Republicans than electing McCain in 2008 would be electing him in 2012.
Sherii 09/24/2009
NO NO and NO again. He already had his shot at the gold ring and missed. If he's the candidate it would giving the election to the dems again.

Well, it certainly doesn't help McCain with all the incidents at Yanni's Wind Palace plus his underground German nightclub (The Bunker). Not too mention the fact that McCain's parasitic twin brother, Madros McCain doesn't look good....things just look bad for McCain. I mean really fucking bad. But on the upside, he still has those excellent 3D glasses.

No way. Give it up. We need strength, clarity, youth, conservatism with power. PLease put your efforts into helping someone with these characteristics. Your political window is closed.

Let's see now; War Hero, adulterer, took bribes and pandered influence in the Keating Five Savings and Loan Scandal which cost us taxpayers BILLIONS!!! If he had any self respect he would be ashamed but he is not. EDid I mention he also lost the election due to his poor campaign skills and misunderstanding of the American voters.

He ran in 2008 and will be too ald to run again. Plus the guy has lost both times he ran for President.

Not the best choice for the Republican party. I did not vote for him in 2004, but had to vote for him for President in 2008. You know what...I do wish he was our President right now instead of Obama. I feel that McCain gave up in his campaign and selecting Sarah Palin as his Vice-President was a big mistake. McCain should have chosen a man. I do not believe he will run in 2011/2012 and yes it would be an age and health issue by then. I don't think the mind would be as sharp and quick in your late 70's. Sorry if that sounds terrible. I don't mean to hurt feelings or sound insulting. I support my Republicans.

In 2012 he'll be sitting in the park in Orlando, Florida with a blanket over his knees playing checkers with Joe Lieberman while Cindy is at a dance studio taking salsa lessons from someone named Ramone.
caphillsea77 11/20/2008
He'll be a fossil by then, look how much the campaign trail aged him. The Republican party needs to look forward for a change.
numbah16tdhaha 11/10/2008
While I consider some of the venom against him to be misplaced, I also think he's not going to even be mentioned as a possibility in 2012.
portecrayon 11/10/2008
After that rotten campaign you ran it is clear you need to hang 'em up John.
Infact why don't you go back to Arizona and up hold your senatorial oath to the Protect and Defend the Constitution by closing your states border to the largest invaision from one country to another.
How long have you been an elected official of the state of Arizona? and yet rampant illegal immigartion persist.
palinin2012 11/10/2008
Well McCain is a good guy but he is a one shot.
irishgit 11/09/2008
He said some time ago that he saw himself as a one term president. Having lost, at his age, he's finished. I see him running out his term in the senate and retiring.
abichara 11/09/2008
He's done. At 72, McCain knew that the window to run for President was closing rapidly as it already stood. The party needs new faces and new ideas. Why did McCain fail in his quest to become President? One, he couldn't energize his party behind one central message, and secondly he failed to capture the attention of moderate "swing" voters. But the biggest reason why he lost was because people simply wanted change and McCain was viewed as the "status quo". It is very hard, in the final analysis, to go up against that cross wind. No Republican could have won in this environment.
waideyboy 11/06/2008
if only he'd run again and the people would support him again. but i doubt it on this one
oscargamblesfr o 11/06/2008
One and done. He'll be 454 in the next election.
zuchinibut 11/05/2008
I think John McCain knows this was his last shot at the Presidency. He has some more work ahead of him in Washington, but its not long before this man will get on his horse and ride off into the sunset.
