Since he croaked this year, the likelihood of his candidacy took a nosedive. That being said, even as a corpse he's ahead of some of the mopes on this list.

If the Republicans wanted to throw an interesting curve ball, they'd consider him. He may be too moderate to win the nomination, but he'd be a decent candidate in the general.

I don't know...I think Kemp would be close to 80 at that point.

Great guy...but he wasn't even a great choice as VP back in 96. It seems like you only need a pulse, and a faint one at that, to make your way on to this list.
