I simply can't do it. . .. . .Jesse Jackson must be kept employed with the continued packaging, selling, and use of racism as currency! His economic structure needs it!

Right, no more cries of racism. Except from the Obama supporters. Like insinuating that the Tea Party was racist. Yuh, lots of intellectual progress being made here . . .

Will take more than this to end racism, sadly. Although I know of no one stupid enough to profess racism, if the media is to be believed, it is growing in this downward economy. This is significant though and awesome to have "The Man" be a brother. Glad he made that hurdle, hope race relations improve through this. Incidentaly, I saw a bumper sticker before the election that said: "If you would Rather Die then see a Black President, now would be a Good Time." It topped the scale of sheer awesomeness.

fuggitabout it;"racism" is big bizness. What are Al Sharpton,Jesse Jackson & Co. supposed to do?Go out of bizness?

The fact that Obama only won by six points despite the fact the Republican Party is hated in this country, clearly shows racism is alive and well in this country. If anything it is about to become worse.

Well thank goodness America licked that problem on Tuesday. What's up for tomorrow?

I remember the occassion when I let my wife win an age old fight about my great grandfather's fart remarks during Thanksgiving dinner. It's not like she simply allowed me to grovel for a bit and then apologize for him right away...she made me personally beg for her forgiveness, cater to her every whim ... make an an utter ass of myself at every public event...Finally, I thought she may have let it go...yet she still kept the grudge...year...after...freakin' year...after freakin' year...until I was ready to lose my f***ing mind......It's like at this point I wish I had made the fart remark. At least I could understand the joke while I suffer...and suffer...and suffer...
Oh. Racism? It's like, totally different. Sorry.

Real racism doesn't go away because of an election. Neither do cries of professional victims.

Racism, and those who cry racism when they feel offended, will always exist because there will always be insecure people who feel the need to place blame on those who are different. I think Obama's election is a milestone event that shows the progress that the US has made in terms of Civil Rights. Racism is less of an institutional and cultural problem now, and more of an individual weakness. Although it is less visible and less accepted among most people, its presence will always exist.

There will always be two things in this world: Real racism, which in itself has no foundation of reason, and unfounded cries of racism. Believing that people won't judge someone based on the color of their skin is naive and the fact that some people scream racism at the drop of a hat only makes this worse. It's almost like the two feed off each other.

Quite the opposite. Unlike Bush (a white man). If Obama makes a gafe, or idiotic mistake and late night talk show hosts or anybody makes fun of him, you can garauntee you will hear cries of racism (even though we have freedom of speech ect). This is wear Obama has the upper hand.

On the contrary, it will only be a change in the position. And, I fear, the change will be for worse. I hope I am wrong.

I have faith in the Jesse Jackson/ Al Sharpton/ white-American-guilt leftists. This should, once and for all, silence this crapola...but I will not hold my breath.
