It's a brilant film.It's about a lion giraffe zebra and a crazy lady and they go to africa. The lion finds his family and he has to pass a test to join them and he loses. So he dosen't get to be with them.

My son has begun to have the patience to sit through a full length movie, and the Madagascar movies are two of his favorites so far. Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa wasn't a bad movie at all, and had quite a bit of funny moments. The penguins and monkeys are great characters, and I loved the scene when the monkeys threaten to go on strike over maternity leave. Even for people who might dread having to sit down and watch a kids movie, either of the two Madagascar films are a good choice.

In this case, it was entertaining, but not as entertaining as the first. I did like Marty reaching out to his identical mates, it made me laugh so much at times. This is almost "Lion King"-ish, but it  is never like it. It is fine though that the story had to continue on- now let's see what happens after this....
