Simon Pegg has established himself as a very good comedic actor in the last few years. While Run, Fat Boy, Run wasn't as successful as Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz, I thought it was still a great comedy. It had funny dialogue, decent acting, and went slapstick at times without losing track of the plot. The story could have very easily been twisted into a sappy romantic comedy, but the plot focused mostly on Pegg's character. It was definitely not a kid's movie, but it wasn't a crude, Rogenesque comedy that would turn off some viewers. I'm surprised this movie hasn't been more popular, and its definitely worth a rental.
