Update: Carla had a chance to show off her classic training in the last few episodes, and seemed to really shine towards the end. However, her lack of confidence was apparent when she began listening to the suggestions of her sous chef in the final. If she had stuck with what she wanted to make, I think she could have won the competition.

2/4/2009 - *** Carla is a nut who looks like Big Bird. She seems to be extremely hot or cold, either wowing the judges or looking almost like an amateur. When things aren't going well she starts rambling about "creating love," and stupid stuff like that. She isn't one of my favorite personalities, but at this point she does have a good chance of being one of the finalists.

she needs to believe in herself more & stand up for herself more. then maybe she would have the courage to push creative limits. also i didn't like the comment she made re: baking the 1 day. baking is awesome!

She is not confidant enough, She is a good cook though.
