Anyone who says they're 'non-judgmental' is either grossly mistaken or a liar. EVERYONE is judgmental. It's a crap pop psych term that we should banish from the vocabulary: everytime a person makes a choice, ANY choice (this TV show or that, this restaurant or that, this job or that, spend free time this way or that way, be friends with this one or that one), they are making a judgement. 'Judgmental is a term which in actual usage means: you said something about (any subject) that I don't like. That said, I see just as many 'monied' people who don't break a sweat as I've seen lazy poor folks. Also depends on a defintion of 'poor'. If 'poor' is less than $50,000 a year, for instance, then most of us are 'poor'.

In light of recent bailouts I have to say that too many people are poor because they are honest. I think I could make millions easy if I was crooked.

I find it more than slightly ironic that this list of judgemental opinions is posted by a reviewer who touts themselves as being non-judgemental, but is in fact one of the most insidiously judgemental people on the site.

They're are people out there that crank out more babies just for the extra $$$ and some people are lousy at their jobs and get fired, then live off welfare for as long as they are able because they don't want to work. But I think most poor people are geniunly hard working people just down on their luck. After I graduated college, I found myself working minimum wage jobs because I couldn't find one with my degree. I got behind on student loans, which made me get behind on credit cards. The whole thing spiraled out of control and I had to move back in with my mom for a year. It was a very, very difficult time. I got through it though, because of the support of my family. Not every body is lucky enough to have a family who gives a shit about them. The system is there for a reason.

I can understand why some people might have the assumption that there are poor people who do use the system and are lazy. But it's an awful unfair label to put on everyone that's down on their luck. There are some that have used the system that has made it hard on everybody. But then there are a lot of those, on the other hand, who work very hard for their money and still a lot of times have to go without the bare essentials of life. And another thing a person might look at, is there are many people that might have a sickness or a disability that might keep them from working. No one is exempt from the possibility of losing everything they own.
