Chocolate and coconut... what could be better??

Dislike coconut in candy.

Mounds is one of my favorites. This is so tasty with the chewy coconut.

Mounds has to be the worst candybar on earth. The coconut in this candy taste awful!!

I'm a coconut lover, but is does get plain after a while.

This would get 5 stars if it wasn't for cadbury's Bounty bar. The same concept except with better chocolate and coconut. Anyway in both cases the pairing is heavenly. Of course coconut - as some other foods such as cilantro - is a distinctive taste; you love it or hate it. Dont reach for this candy if you hate it, it has a STRONG coconut taste not some subtle flavor accent

I used to be somewhat addicted to Mounds in my younger days. I find it puzzling that so many of the previous raters found the combination of coconut and chocolate so distasteful - I always thought it was an inspired, delicious combo.

If you hate cocunut then this candy bar is not for you.

I didn't think I'd like these. I though "Coconut in a candy bar, No way!" But I tried it at Halloween, and I ended up eating all of them that I got in that one night. Soooo Good!

coconut is disgusting! That's all I have to say about mounds.

I only like one of the two kinds of Mounds. I know one has regular chocolate and the other has dark chocolate- I only like the regular brand. The coconut isnt that bad with chocolate, suprisingly.

Smooth, dark chocolate outside, sweet, chewy coconut on the inside--what's not to love!

As I mentioned in the Almond Joy section, due to the influence of their advertising campaign in the 60’s, I can never think of one of these candy bars without thinking of the other. Both are good, but when I don’t feel so much like a nut, I would, of course choose Mounds over Almond Joy. If you can’t choose, just get one of each and save yourself the stress!

*swish* I'm.....going to retch. BLLLUUUUUAAAGH...that mushy coconut crap is disgusting and should never be put in a candy barRRUUUUUUACK. Nasty stuff.

Scary. Just thinking of Mounds gives me the chills. The gross dark chocolate covering, the nasty coconut middle. Sick. Both of those characteristics make for a nightmare candy bar for me. Nothing is worse than dark chocolate. Coconut makes me sick. The texture alone gives me the willies. I would say that this is my least favorite candy bar.

Haven't had one in years, but it used to be a favorite of the gang growing up!!
