06/04/2007 | I very seldom buy them anymore (I've become sort of a candy snob in my old age; I'll pay the extra money and get home-made, top-quality candy at a specialty shop as opposed to the cheap stuff you receive from a vending machine or a corner luncheonette), but I always did regard the chocolate and peanut-butter mix as an exquisite combination, and it can still work for me nowadays on a certain prosaic level.

06/04/2007 | They're good on occasion, but they're by no means my favorite, as the peanut butter can be a bit much sometimes. I'm kind of surprised that they're the top item on this list. I would have expected that spot to go to Snickers without question.

11/14/2005 | Peanut butter and chocolate....heaven's creation. These are great, somethings just go together and do not need any enhancers such as extra caramel or especially 'special' packaging just to make it super appealing.
Reese's peanut butter cups, another proof that the best things in life are often the simplest.

05/15/2005 | I happen to love both peanut butter and chocolate seperately, so it's just that much better when they are combined. I especially like the Reese's eggs at Easter and the newer Giant cup.

07/01/2004 | The best candy bar out there. I've loved this ever since I was little, when my school bus driver would hand me one each time I debarked from the bus. I think he did it in apology for forgetting to drop me off once, but a kid doesn't remember much when given a Reese's. I love these things, especially eating around the edges and then eating that creamy middle. . . Mmm, I might have to pick one of those up tomorrow. . .

11/26/2003 | Reese Cups are a classic candy! You can get 2 or 4 (and, even in some cases 1 or 3). They do melt easily, but taste good, even after melting-prevention refrigeration. Highly recommended!

09/15/2003 | it would be a great candy bar if there was MORE peanut butter and less chocolate. But overall the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup is ok. And I will say there is no other brand of peanut butter cup that comes close to the Reese's cup. It is definately an original. :)

09/15/2003 | These are yummy, but I wish the peanut butter were a bit smoother. It is too crumbly. Maybe it's difficult to insert good quality peanut butter inside there and have it stay well-preserved or something. I also wish the chocolate were better quality, and that the bottom wouldn't rub off onto those little muffin cups that they come in. It's like the chocolate decided to melt in a little circle in the exact same place every time. I like it when they come in a four-pack, because there are nothing but positives when you get an extra peanut butter cup.

I don’t buy what the commercials tried to tell us – that it happened when a person with a jar of peanut butter accidentally ran into a person with a chocolate bar. No, this had to be well planned to turn out so scrumptious!
