Sideshow Bob (Robert Terwillliger)

Sideshow Bob is the intellectual sidekick of Krusty the Klown, and he once tried to kill Bart Simpson. Quote: "And I would've gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for these meddling kids."

He's a good villain, but sometimes his speeches are unbearingly boring.

Over the top? A little. Still one of the best, most original characters on the show.

This is a good character! Just about the smartest person in all of Springfield (including Principal Skinner), he is brought to life by Kelsey Grammer. One of my favourite characters, intellectual but his plans always backfire, which just adds to all the irony of the show. One of the best T.v villians!Go Bob!

Sideshow Bob is awesome! I love watching Bart foil his evil plans. I wish Bob would get his own show. Kelsey Grammer is such a talented actor.

The Simpsons greatest character. Kelsey Grammer is an excellent actor, and is the perfect vocal talent for this wonderful character. Every Sideshow Bob episode is a treat, especially 'Cape Feare', and the character has some brilliant lines. Probably Springfield's most intelligent resident, yet he's always in jail.

Sideshow Bob used to be Krusty's assistant on the show until he went crazy and framed Krusty and Sideshow Bob got sent to prison thanks to Bart. Sideshow Bob got busted about 5 times on the show and he is voiced by Kelsey Grammer. Bob is always threatening to kill Bart and Krusty but he always getsfoiled everytime he tries to. he is a good character on the show.

We all have Sideshow Bob to thank for the greatest episode ever, of course being the Cape Fear parody. He has so many great moments that I don't even dare to try to pick out the best that's how outstanding this character is. Anybody who didn't give him a five star rating is not really a Simpsons fan and should stop watching the show, because if you don't find him funny the rest of it will be boring as well.

The Sideshow Bob saga is great. It gives the message that not all criminals are stupid. His diabolical schemes are genius and they are uncovered continually by 10-year-old Bart.

Devious, educated, articulate - clearly a character that is frustrated by the bufoonery that transpires on the rest of the show. I say spin him off!
