Another favorite game show, even though the questions are difficult.

If there's nothing on TV you can always watch Jeopardy to pass some time. A hugely successful show over the years, it hasn't need to be refreshed.

My favorite, it is educational and fun at the same time.

Jeopardy requires great knowledge and memory. To retain all the information required to win is a skill of its own.

i like this game it is good for people who try to keep up with their studies

A show that requires neurons. And inspired a long running skit on SNL.

Of the few games shows I have watched, and I admit, I am not a fan of 'em, this one is the best. I have yet to get a question right... DUH!

i love jeopardy because i'm a geek who likes to answer all the questions.

A classic and long running game show for sure. Many a brilliant contestants and many not as gifted. This is truly the thinking person's game show.

One of the few gameshows that I've ever taken an interest in, still do, and probably always will. Trebek seems timeless and as long as you have a gazillion categories and questions for contestants the show never gets old.

Always gets your mind going...and probably good for blood circulation in the brain.

This show aint for the common man/woman. Its too smart. True story, years ago me and my family were playing Jeopardy on the Super Nitendo and none of us got the answers right...and this was the kids version yikes!!

I'm tired of it.

Great show and Alex Trubec is a good host.

This is a very challenging game. We used to play along and keep score at home. It was a nice family time.

About the only game show geared towards people with an IQ above the 5th grade.I have to deduct one point for the part where Alex Trebec talks to the players about dumb trivialities in their personal life.

The best quiz show around. Thank heavens for the format of "The sky's the limit," it is more ineresting and this will rival the syndicated "Millionaire." I do like the regular competition and the college tourney the most. Thank heaven there are as of now, no more celebrities competing. Very educational and it will never get old.

Classic game of trivia. The questions might be difficult for some people, but most people are likely to find a category which they find fun to play along with.

I really enjoy Jeopardy, most of the time I never get any of the questions correct but I like teen night more because I usually can answer a couple right, the questions are a little easier....... this is a fun show to watch and play along with. 5 stars*****

It's an enjoyable game to watch, although I would enjoy it more if I could answer more of the questions!

Alex Trebek is a Golden God.

I love Jeopardy! It is probably my favorite show on TV. It is great fun to play along at home, and I find it to be a great way to keep my mind sharp. Although I admit to hating on that pompous flaming Frenchman, Alex Trebeck... He would probably be alot fun to slap around, though I can't think of anyone who could do as good a job on the show as he does.

Not as good as it once was. . .and yes, Alex is a prick who pretends to actually know the answers. . .but this is a first-rate quiz show. Great categories and info. . .

I used to watch this show until about 7 years ago. Since then, it has become very boring and unpredictable. Unfortunately, my mom likes this show, but it's a good thing she doesn't make me watch it.

Jeopardy is educational and fun!

I love Jeopardy! It's a great show, even better now since that freaky-looking Ken Jennings lost. He ruined the show while he is on, and now that he's gone, all's good again!

i like jeopardy. i like to see if i can answer before the contestant does. nobody i know likes to watch it though

I have always referred to Jeopardy as the temple of knowledge because you could not watch an episode without learning something.It is not the most exciting game show and it isn't supposed to be.The temple these days has been dominated by one god Ken Jennings which has become tiresome.I wouldn't be surprised to ultimately see the rules changed after this at some point.

I used to love this show but now its become so predictable: Alex starts the show, Ken answers all the questions correctly, and Alex congradulates Ken. I doubt Ken's going anywhere any time soon though, Jeopardy's ratings have doubled (God only know why).

Ken Jennings is Christ resurrected. Except he's Mormon...well, you know what I mean...

I used to think it was great until the new rules. Now it's the Ken and Alex show.

This show is okay, but definetly not my favorite. I know the show was a classic to some, but the first time I watched it, I wasn't too impressed. The host is pretty good, but a little boring. Very repetitive, also. I will give it a three, though, because I like Final Jeoprady and seeing how many questions I can get right.

we don't like the new rule on jeopardy, so we have not watched the show since the 5th day ken jennings was on. We won't be watching until he's off.

Good show but they should cange the rules so the same people don't win all the time.

I got fed up with Jeopardy! Our family is rufusing to watch that show until that get that Mormon off the show. There have been several questions that the guy missed and Jeopardy! allowed the answer to stand. Some have suggested that the so-called Morman Mafia has been helping this guy win. I don't know about that but to me it is just turned into Boringpardy!

Although Merv Griffin is generally accepted as the creator of Jeopardy, in his autobiography he gives the credit to his (then) wife Jeannie. The game show industry had taken a major beating for several years after the payola scandal in the late 1950s. Anyone involved in creating or producing television game shows at that time was afraid that they could become the target of investigations and scandal for even minor, innocent errors. While traveling on a plane and discussing it with his wife she suggested a way around the problem. Why don't we just create a game show where we give the contestants the answers? she suggested. At first Merv misunderstood and said something to the effect of Oh yeah.....we do that and we'll land in jail for sure. No, you don't understand she said. I say to you, the contestant, 'five thousand two hundred and eighty feet'. Merv answered How long is a mile? and with that, the show was born. The shows longevity and range of questions is proof that this is one of the best game shows of all time. I'll admit that I don't know anything about 17th century Balkan wars and even less about rivers and tributaries that run through the Congo but in total Jeopardy is an entertaining and frequently educational show that keeps the mind sharp and often reminds me of how little I actually know. Still, there's no greater satisfaction than watching a rerun with friends and seeing the look on their faces as you name the 14th century Italian clock maker who invented the first astronomical clock. Jeopardy will never get old (even if Tribek does). Somehow they continue to generate questions that are just the right level of difficulty: hard enough that I'm pretty psyched when I get few in a row right, but easy enough that I keep watching.

Jeopardy! is a great show to keep your brain tuned up. Yes, Alex is a little smug at times, but the show never seems to lose a step! Many still claim the show has been dumbed down, but it's still by far the most difficult game show on television. And it is, in my opinion, the best.

Even though I find this show to be boring sometimes, I still think it is very educational and well worth watching. I love the college tournaments especially. The only downfall other than boredom is the egotistical host...but he isn't horrendous...

The best show! TV I can actually watch without feeling like I am getting dumber by the minute, because I am actually getting smarter! Very addictive! I hate when they make a whole round out of a joke though, like today it was Sylvester Stallone, then each subsequent category had something to do with him, like Rocky, Cliffhanger, etc. That is annoying!

Great show. It may seem boring to some, but it's only boring if you don't know the answers. Good host as well.

I love the way Alex Trebek is. Sure he comes across like a know-it-all but I think it's funny when he does it. What's even MORE funny are people who hate him for it.

One of the few TV shows I can stand. As a matter of fact, I love it, and it keeps me involved from start to finish. Though it has dumbed-down in recent years, as another poster noted, it is still great entertainment for the three-digit IQ crowd.

Good trivia for contestants and viewers. Sometimes as a 16 year old I think I could win most games because people are either really stupid or questions are too easy.

I've never seen harder questions, and the contestants aren't laughing idiots. You don't get lucky and spin a wheel, or pick a letter (after wasting all of your money on vowels even though you know the answer), you have to be smart. I hate when he interviews the people, they have nothing interesting to say, and the show can get boring because the average viewer knows maybe 5% of the questions, and that's in categories like Pop Culture, not Egyptian Kings of the 5th Century.

I've always considered this game a classic. Itsfast-paced and you have to be on your toes to succeed. A lot of the questions are very difficult, but I always learn something after watching an episode of Jeopardy. And when I do get a question right, it feels damned good. Not one of my favorite game shows, but its a pretty good one.

One of the best game shows ever and it has stood the test of time. It requires that the contestants be intelligent and Alex Trebek strikes just the right note without being pedantic. The celebrity ones are fun and you can see which celebrities are the smartest, like Cheech Marin. I believe he was rated the smartest celebrity to have appeared on the show to date and he said it really surprised a lot of people and changed his image. There is diversity among the contestants and I especially love the Final Jeopardy question and always hope I can get it right. Once in a while I do. It's informative and fun and great entertainment.

For those of us with IQ's over 100, there's "Jeopardy!" For the rest of you, I'm sure "The Weakest Link" will always need viewers. If "Jeopardy!" makes you feel stupid, consider that thought, and take some night classes...a GED may be closer than you may think.

Simply the best game show I've ever seen. In fact, it's the ONLY current game show worth watching. It's fun to play along and test your knowledge against people who have some actual intelligence, instead of dweebs who can tell you who's the latest pop-culture icon (yawn) but seem never to have opened a book in their lives. The only installments I don't enjoy are those featuring clueless celebrities. Alec Trebek seems to be a genial host. He may just be reading those answers from cards, but I've learned enough about his activities involving educating young people to have a lot of respect for him. That's why I can't understand why anyone would think he's "smarmy" or condescending. (I suppose they are intimidated by smart people???) Personally, I find smart men sexy (Canadians get extra points from me), and Alec fits in both categories (though I found him more attractive when he had the mustache). I am glad that the award amounts were raised a few months ago - though they are still not nearly enough, considering that any mental deficient who can spell c-a-t or who knows that the sun does not orbit the earth can walk away with hundreds of thousands of dollars from such lame-game shows as "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire."

A game show you can actually learn from...great show!

I only watch it when Im at my grandma's. This show makes me feel stupid.

At least you have to know a little something to win on this show, and you get straight cash, not a bunch of lame prizes. However, I have two problems with this show. Alex Trebek would have you believe that he knows every single answer on those cards. He reads the answers as if to say, "well that was so obvious", and you know good and well that he didn't have a clue. My other problem is with the buzzers. I think they cheat some of the contestants. You can see one of them standing there clicking their buzzer as if their life depended on it, and it never works, then one of the others punches theirs just one time and it magically works. Is that really fair? NOPE.

Not enough money given away...and just blah.

I go through spurts, months on end where I just can't miss Jeopardy, and moths were I could care less. Jeopardy requires intellegence and quick thinking. It is a classic. Trully deserves to be at the top of the list.

I have seen people lay down 20 dollar bets on the answers while watching this show.
