it was good with Bob Barker as the host but now it's just not the same...Drew Carey of all people got the gig..this leaves me confused and now it's on at night?

Best show ever...when you're home sick from work. I'm not sure I'm sold on Drew Carey just yet.

Why does that dude gotta kiss everybody!!!??? I really havent seen it in years, cause I work weekdays, but I dont miss watching it!

Loved the show with bob, never missed a show, dont like it now, not good chemistry. I love drew in his other shows just dont think its a good fit for him, makes the viewer uncomforable to watch. Drew is very bad at hosting this show. He talks to fast, jokes are not funny, really thought cbs would have picked a better host for this legendary show. Really hope they change the host to someone better so i can enjoy the show again!

Unfortunately, I like some of the games...especially Plinko, but it's getting more and more difficult to watch as Drew is really bad at hosting. He speaks too fast (compared to Bob), makes wise cracks about contestants, cannot explain how to play a game for the life of him. Maybe I've watched too long, but to any real fan of TPIR, it's almost second nature to explain these games. Did I mention how bad he is with predicting what someone is going get when they spin the Big Wheel? The one good thing I will say about Drew, he does know how to celebrate with those that win on the show. I think we should play our own game called "how many times can Drew screw up in this episode?" It has become funny from that standpoint.

Drew Carey sucks big time!! He looks uncomfortable almost the entire show. The worst part is when he is not sure what else to say when they are spinning the wheel, so he mutters "is there anyone who you would like to say hi to?". How rediculous and zero entertainment value for the watcher. Carey SUCKS and I hope they replace him soon. He seems unhappy too. I think he's just an unhappy fellow.

Judging by the fans comments, they have excepted Bob Barker's retirement. Yes he will be missed, but the new host Drew Carry does not fit the profile or have the personality require to host a show of this nature. If this show is to succeed, the producers will need to make changes quickly and return to the original format with a new host so that the fans maybe able to adjust and except new changes in future. As one of your fans has indicated by saying that "The Price is Right is a piece of Americana". I can see that the producers are trying to bring in a younger group for the future, but have not realized that they have made too many changes to fast. The new host should be someone young but with a very mature personality. Remember this host must be able to bring out the best in all of your fans.

Drew Carry should go back to that Who's line is it anyway show. All Bob's hard work and dedication is all in Vain and that show is going downhill in a big way. Bob's at home right now. lets coax him out of retirement. BOB COME BACK!!!

The Price is Right isn't quite as good without the veteran, consummate professional Bob Barker. Nevertheless, the many entertaining, fun games, the unpredictable audience participants and the chance to win cash and prizes allows this show to maintain its popularity. An hour's escape into a world of light-hearted pleasure and excitement. I am already looking forward to watching it tomorrow as I sip my morning cup of tea.

Here we had the all-American game show pushing consumer junk. At least in the good old days, it was all American made!

A staple of game shows. I hardly ever watch it or the other daytime game shows because of my schedule. I havent seen it since Drew Carrey took it over either.

PLEASE get rid of him! He absolutely sucks!!!! He has no tone in his voice. He does not show any emotion or excitement and it feels as though he is an auctioneer just running through his commentary with zero expression. We used to watch every opportunity possible we had, but we just cannot watch with Drew Carey anymore.

Drew Carey is a poor replacement for Bob Barker. I tried to watch it a couple of times, but it was boooorrrrrrrrrrring.. No more. Need a different host. Who in the heck picked Drew?

I have been a fan of the show since the early 70s when I was in high school--yes, whenever I used to stay home sick, that would be my favortie show to switch on. Maybe we got used to Bob's ways and style but now with this transplanted comedian, I no longer care to watch. I'm sad that the producers of TPIR will probably face the reality that the choice for host did nothing to keep the momentum going.

Really Sucks now w/Drew Carey. I thought it might just be me or my imagination at first but as I look around in differents places where people post their feelings about the show, HE REALLY DOES SUCK and if they don't do something SOON this iconic TV Show will have to be CANCELLED! Several people will be and should be fired if they were connected with this SUPER HIRING BLUNDER.

The Price is Right is a piece of Americana that will live on forever. Yes, Bob Barker will be missed, and yes, Drew carey can be annoying, but the game is a great leveller - people less well off can get great prizes, groups of people who work together have a great trip to see it. I love it!

Price is right has been on for ages and is a AOK show but after all these yrs I am not so interested and possibly could be becuse of all of the other new stuff that has been coming out

I think watching any game show is evidence either of encroaching senility, or incipient imbecility.

Loved watching this show on t.v. but it was runed for me when I actually atteneded a taping of this show for my 18th birthday. We had to get to the studio at 5 in the morning (my friends and I were about the 120th people in line!) and wait till six to get our first set of tickets. (These do not guarantee you a seat at the show, they just tell you what number you were in line before six...stupid, I know) We then got to leave for a couple hours and then came back to get our real numbers. We sat around for a few more hours making sure everyone had the right numbers, then we left for lunch. We then had to go back for a few more hours and wait to get our name tags. Around 1, they began to take us by rows for our "interview" to see if we could get to be a contestant on the show. The key to this part is to keep the interviewe talking. After another hour of waiting for people to have their interviews, we finally got to go into the show. FYI, the stage is SOOO small. They can only fit about 300 people in the audience. (You don't want to be between 100-150 as you get sat in the very back...grrrrr) Anyway, they start taping at a little past two. To make a long story short, no-one in my group got called on...grrrrr, but a girl did win three cars and the showcase (I am so jealouse!) We left at about 3:30. It was the longest, most boring day of my life!! The thing that really sucked (sorry for my language) was that since we were all up since 3:30 in the morning (we had to drive from south orange county to LA) we were all so tired for the taping that we didn't even enjoy it that much. Needless to say, I no longer watch the price is right (too many bad memories lol). The only reason I gave this thing a three star is that I used to enjoy watching the show...but no more!

Bob's an American Icon and will be missed when he retires.

a 4.5. still around over 30 years later. got to give credit for this and still people like to tune it to see if they can guess he price of things. I still stop once and a while to see what games and items they have to price. fun on occasion. wonder who they will get to host after Bob Barker?

it is right up there at the top of best game shows. it had variety and anyone could play and win.

There have been 2 versions of TPIR. The first version was a bit different and was hosted by the late Bill Cullen in the years 1956-1965. The Bob Barker version has been running strong for 35 years (1972-present). Nearly 45 years of this game show is amazing within itself! Come on down!!

Bob Barker is one of the most likeable people on this planet and unlike "Deal Or No Deal" you get what you earn on this show -a car or hundreds of dollars of cash for guessing right...instead of millions of dollars for guessing briefcases (which takes no skill). What mars this show is the fact that apparently one is required to take Prozac to make an appearance on the show (explain the over-hyped audience) and the absolute idiots (most everyone) who appears on this show. In this sense it's the opposite of Jeopardy: Very educated intelligent people qualify for Jeopardy and the ONLY morons I see on The Price Is Right are some of the most God-awful moronic people alive. Very unnerving to watch a show like this chalk-ful of retards and wonder if there's any intelligent life out there. All in all an average show but one that I watch only when I'm EXTRAORDINARILY-BORED.

Nobody can replace Bob Barker...a true classic.

The show I remember watching on TV when I was home sick from school growing up. I love trying to guess the prices of items, as from what I remember in the stores. It's fun to root for the contestants and to see how close the bids are on the showcase showdowns.

A great show!

A friend of mine won everything you can win on this show. A car, vacations, furniture, you name it. I also find it amusing that Bob Barker can still pull some serious ass.

This show is still awesome after 33 years on the air. My mom watches TPIR almost every weekday morning and I like it, too, even though I don't watch it very often. An enjoyable classic!

Bob Barker, please retire or just plain go away. You're so dull and boring, just like the Buick Centurys that you give away, and the word fellers ceased hilarity about 100 years ago, which meant you were in your 40's when it was funny last.

It's one of the few game shows that's been around forever, and has such a wide variety of fans. From a 6 year old to a 96 year old. The games never get old, and it's always exciting to watch.

this is the best game show for everybody. kids and grownups alike.my mother-in-law and father-in-law used to like to watch it together and they would play along with it.

I used to love The Price is Right as a kid...during the 70s...on a rainy day we'd actually play along! I don't get to watch it too much anymore, but when I have a day off every once in awhile i will catch it...and I loved Barker's Beauties especially Janice Pennington!

A fun show to watch, really opens my eyes to how terrible I am at naming prices. Some of the showcases can end up pretty lame though...I remember one lady who fought tooth and nail to get to the showcase showdown ended up with a china set and some dancing lessons.

So cheesy its great. I watch with anticipation that one of the contestants will miss their footing and fall a*se over tit down the steps. The version we have here in the UK is so tame compared to the US version. C'mon Down

Okay, I give three stars to the current version of The Price is Right with host Bob Barker. I liked it as a kid in the 70s and have rarely seen it since. BUT has anyone seen the original 1950s version of The Price is Right with host BILL CULLEN on Game Show Network's Black and White Overnight??? Now, that was a trip. Cullen was a fun host and the prizes were BIZARRE. I SWEAR, they'd give away things like small aircraft, prefab homes with indoor pools and two (very cool) cars at once. I REALLY wish GSN would include it as part of the late night line-up again. But they have to leave my very favorite classic game show What's My Line? in it's current spot! My PVR is set, people...

TPIR is the one and only show that is just pure enjoyment! Bob Barker gets better & better. It is far and away THE BEST!!

The Price is Right has the best games, showcases, and prizes ever. No other game show allows you to participate as much as the Price is Right. For my 18 birthday i'm going to the Price is Right.

The greatest game show ever. The name of the game is FUN and there is none of the "eliteism" here that appears in the quiz shows. TPIR is about real people going crazy about being on TV and being on a great game show. Plus Bob Barker is a living legend.

The Price is Right has always been my all time favorite of game shows. It has different price games that fit everyones style. More chances of winning.

The bestgame show of all time. There is nothing about this show to dislike. I recall when they tried a nighttime version (not the million dollar spectacular shows) and it sucked. It will be real interesting to see what happens when Bob leaves.
