John O'Hurley or Peterman from Seinfeld has done a really good hosting job w/Family Feud.  He brings a very good style to an otherwise boring game.  Survey says: "yes."

Richard Dawson kissed so many ladies on this show that I've always wondered how often he transferred mono- the guy was like a walking one man minor STD plant... I agree with Schaden's point, there were a lot of times when the category would be "Something you might forget to bring to the beach" and there was only the top answer left, and someone who had all of the intellectual capabilities of Paris Hilton would shout out , say,"Fudgesicles..."

I really like it when the family "mentally disabled" answers with a huge non-sequitur and all the family members [feel coerced to] answer "Good answer!  Good answer" but they'd secretly like to wait for the right moment and place to throttle the idiot.

So many different hosts, I still think its really entertaining. The competition gets really intense by the end, which is great to watch.  In the end, the game "Fast Money" is really fun to guess with.

This show was good with Richard Dawson and never again...period. That fat guy is/was horrible.

The new John O'Girley has made the feud not worth watching even my own mother who is 68 says he is the WORST host ever. We dont bother anymore with watching it. I hope that the BUZZ of an answer already used takes John's butt off. ITS NOT FUNNY ANYMORE JOHN!!!!

This show is like the energizer bunny, keeps going and going and going. Now on its third host it is still pretty good though.

It's a classic, entertaining game show. I like pointing and laughing when the players get hyped up after they give an answer and then the buzz sound comes in afterward...hahaha. Also, is it just me or does the host (Richard Karn) love groping the women whenever he has the chance? Even though the women are cheerful and happy outside, they are probably saying "Oh my God, I would slap him silly if he did this to me outside of this game show."

I like the program, but it changed when hosts changed. Richard Dawson - good. Louie Anderson - good. Richard Karn - average.

This show is so fun and exiting to watch an play along with, the questions are fairly easy and it makes it fun for average people to play along with at home. Its a good family show, I love it. 5 stars*****

My favorite game show. I love trying to guess answers on the menu. It's fun to hear what the contestants answers are. I love the fast money time. Richard Karn was better on Home Improvement, his jokes are way cheesy, but I like him better on this show than Louie Anderson.

What's something you forget to take off when you go to bed? Um...Tacos. Someone actually said this. I find this show highly entertaining.

Richard Karn is akward and is not funny, he tries to be and its embarassing to watch the show and watch him fail to be funny. It was better with Louie

This is an awesome show. Especially with Richard Carn hosting it.

I like the premise of the show, but I don't like that almost every time, the family that wins the triple point wins the game, making the first three questions irrelevant (newest version). One other item that drives me nuts, is Mr Karn repeating himself over and over: i.e. If you miss this question the _____family gets a chance to steal. I've been a fan of Family Feud since it started. Richard Dawson is 5 stars, Ray Combs 3 stars. Louie Anderson, less than 1 star, and Richard Karn, 3 stars.

Gotta love the feud. But there is no replacement for Richard.

The game itself is first class. However, the show itself has become terrible. Richard Dawson is the ONLY true host of "Family Feud"! Ray Combs was OK, but Dawson was the best ever! I cannot believe that the producers have ruined this show's credibility by putting that unfunny Louie Anderson on the air.

"Family Feud" has gone way down since Louie Anderson left, and Richard Karn took over as host. I was wondering what was to become of FF after Mr. Anderson left. When the new 2002-2003 season of The Feud kicked off, I wanted to give it a fair chance, but not without the fear that the show would probably change drastically FOR THE WORSE. Sadly, it happened, and sadly, that's what people like. IT IS ABSOLUTELY RAUNCHY, NOW! And this is supposed to be a PG show; and on at an hour that is easy for children to tune in (6:00 pm). No wonder today's kids are in trouble! There was very mild and very occasional suggestion on it when Mr. Anderson hosted; this year, it is ALL THROUGH IT! SEX seems to be a frequently featured topic, whether it is in the question itself, or in one of the answers. That is TOTALLY UNNECESSARY!!! When Louie hosted, it would have earned 4 stars from me. Now, I think even ONE star is too good! By the way, I grew up with Richard Dawson's version... THAT was a true classic.

i gave the feud a 5, buts it for richard dawson's run as the host. nobody has come close to him as a host!

I love this show. The only thing that needs to go is Louie. He is not meant for the show. Anyways, I love the show: it's funny and you don't have to be very smart in order to enjoy it. The questions are funny and entertaining. DEFIENTLY ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS OUT THERE! I also recommend playing online @ Uproar.com...it's slow, but very fun!!

I really could give the show 3 different ratings: 5 stars for Ray Combs (rest in peace!), 4 stars for Richard Dawson, and 1 star for Louie Anderson... ultimately, I'm averaging it to 4 stars. Ray Comb's version and Richard Dawson's version had pretty much the same format--get to 200/300/400 points to win. Each family earns points by trying to guess the most popular answers to questions asked to 100 people. However many people answered the same way as the contestant's guess, that's how many points are earned. Later on, point values are doubled, and if after then there is still no winner, tripled. Which ever family got to the right number of points first got to play the bonus round, where 2 members of the family tried to give the most popular answer to 5 questions. If they succeeded in getting 200 points or more, they won $5000 (or $10,000 in the nighttime version). If not, they won $5 for each point they got (i.e. 165 points means a total of $825 is won). Heh, Ray Combs would give the second family member fake questions (like "How many miles is it from the earth to the moon?") if the first family member got to 200 points alone, which was quite amusing! The Louie Anderson version today is just so flawed though... the biggest problem isn't the host, bad as he is, but the format. Rather than each family trying to reach a certain score, there are always 4 rounds, and which ever family has the most points after 4 rounds wins. The trouble is, the last round is triple points, making the first 3 rounds completely meaningless. One family can win all first 3 rounds, but the other family can win ONLY THE LAST ROUND and they'll still wind up as the winning family, which just isn't right. Make comebacks possible, sure, but don't base the ENTIRE GAME on a single round! Fast money round is still the same here (with $10,000 for the winning family). Louie himself is just not a very good game show host, he simply was not meant for this. He is ANNOYING! Even if not though, even Ray Combs couldn't save the bad format of the show in it's current state. Still, it's VERY worth watching old episodes with Ray Combs as the host--he's great! Jibman, you're not alone in your love for Ray Combs as Family Feud host!

This is an OK remake. Unlike many people here, my fond memories of Family Feud come not from Richard Dawson, but from the late Ray Combs. It disappoints me that he seems to have been lost in the shuffle, because I think no one will ever come close to him as being the best host.

I absolutely LOVE this show!!!!! But only Richard Dawson's version. The new version is so beyond horrible it makes me want to throw things at my TV.

THis show is extremly fun to watch! I would love to be on Family Feud. Louie has a great sense of humor! I used to think that this show was annoying, but now I love it!

I like to see if I can get the top answers right and stuff. You can actually learn some stuff on there too. It's cool.

How is it that the set looks even cheesier now than it did back with Richard Dawson. I am not interested in watching the show now with Louie Anderson, however, back in the day I loved it. Of course, I was about 8 years old. I loved the goofy hoedown music and the family poses as well as little Richard Dawson kissing all of the ladies. "good answer, good answer"
