Okay he supported the Iraq war -1, but hes strong leadership helped keep the Labour Party relative by pursuing the "Third Way" like Clinton in America, hes strong support for the U.S. after 9/11 was great, and he has done a lot to support Kyoto (end global warming) and support the European Union as well!

I'm not rating this man on his personality, I'm rating him as a leader and as a leader he was shyte. I'm so glad this man is standing down in June, it couldn't have come soon enough. When I voted for him back in 1997 that was my first and unfortunately last ever vote for any British government and I think after his fiasco at No 10 no-one has the right to tell me who I should and shouldn't vote for and if I should be voting at all. When you look at the damage he's done over the last ten years; extortionate housing prices so bad that first time buyers - myself included - can't afford to get on the property ladder, tuition fees for higher education that students are leaving 20,000 in debt, NHS in a shambles, Millenium Dome that no-one uses, youths running the streets with ASBOS generating as much power as a dead horse, war in Iraq and Afghanistan, Nurses and Doctors shitty pay, Academies replacing existing comprehensives that teach one subject for 12-16 year-olds - trust me this guarantees to churn out dumbkids - the list just goes on. I'm not sorry to see him go, I'll even hold a party for him as hes leaving.

Master of spin, this con artist extrandaire will let Great Britain into wreck and ruin if he continues to lead the nation. If he continues, Great Britain will be part of the ruthless facist European Union and the British Peoples will come under the rule of tyranny and surpression. Britons shall never be slaves. The tyrants will try, but never succeed as long as Britannia is mistress of the seas!!! RULE BRITANNI, BRITANNIA RULES THE WAVES, BRITONS, NEVER SHALL BE SLAVES!!! Get rid of Tony Blair and his communist ilk. Save our nation!!! Get out of the UK, kill the kilo, and all the metric system!

Most British will tell you this man is for the chop! America, you can have him...you can't do any worse than what you've got in the White House right now. Apparently, Blair now appears on the Simpsons cartoon and is to be given a medal by the US. For what? For being involved in a war his people didn't want?? This man has the gall to go against his own Continental partners and then turns round to them and suggests that although they were wrong not to be involved in an illegal invasion, there should be a President to represent Europe's interests and that that president should be him!! Yeah, right! Of 25 countries!!?? He can't even run his own country!!Bush likes the idea naturally because then the EU - with it's president Blair - will back everything Bush wants to do. Ok then, let's have a president. I vote for Chirac, who puts his country and the European peoples first before everybody else-just as Bush does for the US. I am sick, ashamed and disgusted at the position Britain finds itself in because of this man. Roll on election day! UPDATE: It is highly unlikely Blair will continue to do what is necessary to help Bush, because he knows his own party will be rid of him. Every time Bush mentions Blair in any statement, the polls fall against Tony. The idea that a whole country is wrong whereas Tony is right is laughable! The British people do not like being ignored by those they have put into power and Blair has done this on too many other issues. In his Cabinet memoirs, Blair has even said that he was aware America was going to strike Iraq (from AS SOON AS the neocons got into power) -it had already been planned and so was most definitely not to go after AlQaeda terrorists! This is why he tried to 'sex up' documents to make it look like we were under threat and to involve the UN so as to lend international legitimacy to cover the US action. The international community could have and would have helped out, if they had been convinced and, unsurprisingly, they weren't....and still aren't. Saddam was evil, we all know that. Maybe at some stage forces would still have to go to Iraq, but it is sad to see your troops engaged there and fighting for their lives under a false prospectus. You should be angry about this too.

He should be prasied for his courage to fight this war in Iraq despite the lack of common sense his country has. Tony Blair is a true friend; when push comes to shove, Blair will do what is necessary to stand by President Bush. Thank You Mr.Blair!!

I admire Tony Blair's guts for standing up and doing the right thing concerning the U.S. war on terrorism. He has taken a lot of heat from his own Labour party, most of his countrymen and most of Europe on the question of Iraq. It is not easy to take such a position in light of the political circumstance. His support for a hawkish foreign policy demonstrates a few things about his character. A lot of his critics have said in the past that he determines policy solutions based on poll numbers. Well, this policy wasn't determined by poll numbers; 15% of British people support U.S. action in Iraq! He isn't a lightweight like his detractors claim; he seems to be thoughtful and meditative before making important decisions. If Blair says we need to take care of Saddam, then we should listen to him. Blair comes from a Christian, semi-Pacifist tradition; if he says Iraq poses a threat to the West, then we should listen carefully. He makes the Atlantic Alliances case much more effectively than Bush does. I also think he has done a good job in trying to be the link between the Bush administration and the European governments on foreign policy. Europe and the U.S. differ plenty on policy aims and Blair has attempted to reconcile these differences to create a fairly effective U.S.-European alliance. I don't believe that Bush is a unilateralist; the problem with the U.S.-European relationship comes down to political, social and economic differences that are too great to enumerate here. The appearance of a unilateralist attitude is how this relationship is manifested. At any rate, Blair has done a good job on most fronts.

Hasn't kept to his referendum at all. Our transport system (especially the trains) are an absolute disgrace, our hospitals are filthy, underfunded and understaffed, property prices are ridiculously high and hardly anyone is voting anymore because we've had enough of our politians. They're worried about that as well now, and are voicing their concerns. perhaps they should actually keep their promises and use our taxes wisely instead of on crap such as the Millenium Dome.

Blair is absolutely superb. He's a true leader, unlike the US of A's own terrible thing in the White House. Hey England, can we trade? No, that's okay, I know you all wouldn't want to part with such a wonderful man! The US desperately needs someone like Tony Blair, especially during a time like this! He's a tolerant, liberal person who favors gun control :-) is pacifistic :-) and if he were the leader of my own country, would probably be leading the fight for stem cell research! Go Tony Blair! And take care, everyone.

After the terrible Sept. 11 catastrophe, Tony Blair, with much passion and grace, devoted himself to assisting the United States in every possible way. Many world leaders did, but Tony Blair's passion and compassion seemed to stand out from the rest somehow. This is difficult to explain in words, but it is why I feel he deserves five stars.

I can't stand the man or the way he does things. He sees anyone who values a bit of British independence from europe as the Forces Of Conservatism, and the way he prattled on seems to believe the Iceberg that Titanic crashed into had a blue rosette on it too. He sees any viewpoint other than his own as wrong, and does what he wants rather than what is right. And the proposal of Full Employment by 2010? Yeah, right! It just can't happen, and he knows it. It's a ploy for the next election. He spent £1m of tax money on redecorating his house when the pension rise will be 74p next year. Well, that's my rant done - for now...

The first time you laid eyes on him, you didn't expected he was a politican, rather an actor! He has everything a politican usually doesn't have: charm, social intelligence... :o)
