The sweet styrofoam is surprisingly pleasant. I always found it a little mysteroius how the bag holding the cereal was not like other cereal bags. (I think Pops may also do the same thing, but I don't like that cereal enough to know.) Be warned that eating too many of these will give your urine a distinct smell that you can only recognize if you do eat too many.

Growing up, this cereal was called Sugar Smacks. (It cracks me up the way the names of things change with the times, like how Kentucky Fried Chicken is now KFC.) Back to the topic... Smacks is a pretty tasty cereal. It has a very strong honey flavor and a nice, light texture. It's probably better to view Smacks as a snack or a dessert because it is extremely sweet and it doesn't have any staying power whatsoever. If the weather is at all humid, don't be surprised if the cereal forms a giant block in the cereal box. Not to worry- simply squeeze the package a time or two and you'll be in business. Just be sure to brush your teeth afterwards.

This cereal is extremly horrible tasting, and it's extremly sticky and ruins your silverware. It sticks to everything, and it is made for frogs to eat.

I loved these as a kid..Diggum' Smacks, right? Or wasn't that the tagline with the cool frog? They are kind of an odd shape, very sweet, very satisfying to the five year old in need of a sugar rush. However, this is a "3 bowl cereal"..you have to pour just a bit in with a little milk and eat them, and repeat until a full bowl has been eaten. If you go for the full bowl, full of milk, you will wind up with sloppy smack mush.

Personally, I hate the fact that after about 5 minutes in the bowl they become some kind of mush. Give me the Capt with his crunchy, mouth shearing goodness.

I assume these are what used to be called Sugar Smacks back before parents became over-protective wussies. I think the Smacks are a little gross if you eat them too many days in a row, but as a once-in-a-while treat, there is no better breakfast cereal.
