Good for you. Frosted mini-wheats have better taste and don't get soggy as fast but these are O.K. with enough goodies added.

Love this stuff, but won't eat it every day.

Try putting a patty of butter on the biscuit and add hot milk and salt. It may sound a little strange but that is how we do it in South Dakota, you will be pleasantly surprised.

I guess it depends on what your reason is for eating cereal in the first place - to load yourself up with sugar or to have something relatively healthy for breakfast. Although I agree with those who say that shredded wheat tastes a bit like cardboard or sawdust, it's really not all that bad, even without sugar sprinkled over it. All of us have certain tastes we are avers to - my dislikes are liver and cilantro, in particular. As a good for you breakfast, shredded wheat with milk (low fat, of course!) is pretty high on the list. The coffee I have after it probably screws up all of the good I have done by eating the cereal.

Yum! Try these with vanilla rice milk and prepare to be dazzled!

This cereal sucks! It has no flavor and it is too rough and coarse on your teeth, tongue, and mouth!

You need to put a bag of sugar on this cereal to enjoy any bit of it. They are so big, and they break, and the wheat goes flying all over the place. They stink with fruit, and you can't add anything to them because they're so healthy and if you mixed iron with a caramel stuffed chcolate bar, you may have a heart attack. The End.

Horse food!!! Lots of riboflavin, though.

I grew up with this cereal. It's only good when it is soggy with milk. If you don't eat this cereal with milk, then it tastes like cardboard.

If you can endure the sensation of chewing on pine needles, then this cereal might work for you. However, you should be warned about the flavor. In my opinion, it tastes like a combination of cardboard and sawdust. The only thing going for Nabisco's Shredded Wheat is the way you get to crush it into small pieces before eating it- something I'm much more in the mood to do after I've finished it!
