 | robman55 (0) 06/10/2007 | This cereal is one of the best I've eaten. Tastes great and goes down good!!!! It also is a great source for fiber which is what I have really needed in by diet for a long time.

 | brandylovesminiwheat (0) 01/28/2006 | I love Frosted mini-wheats..I eat them every day 2 or 3 times a day. I don't use milk, I just eat them out the box or put some in a bowl and eat them with no milk. They are better that way. I am addicted to them..:-)

 | sarahxoxo (0) 09/04/2005 | I rated this 'ok' because they are yummy don't get me wrong...but I atcually think the frosted part is uneeded, I get Post Shredded Wheat, which is just whole wheat cereal, and I think it is just as good as Frosted Mini-Wheats which are coated with sugar. Good though if you have a sweet tooth.

 | texasyankee (21) 06/07/2005 | I have this more often in my house than any other cold cereal. My kids eat it, and I like it too. Not too sweet, filling and crunchy.

 | PTRoxieMisha (3) 06/07/2005 | They may be full of fiber and Peter Tomarken may have been in a commercial for this cereal once, but Frosted Mini-Wheats just tastes really weird to me. Plus they have more calories per serving than an average bowl of any other cereal would.

 | Wid71 (9) 05/05/2005 | They're good with milk or plain. I like the new Vanilla Creme ones as well.

 | xmanda (0) 05/02/2005 | i prefer these straight from the box. my favorite is the new Vanilla Creme Frosted Mini Wheats. they have a nice warm vanilla baked flavor, they taste so good. they're full of fiber, and great for snacking.

 | cutegurl (15) 04/18/2005 | They are alright but it is a very inconsistent cereal. Some of the pieces have a lot of frosting and other pieces have pratically none. Also, the bottom pieces that sit in your bowl the longest get really soggy and kind of gross.

 | kattwoman (24) 04/08/2005 | they are made to eat out of the box. they are a snack food to me. it does not sound the least bit appetizing to add milk to them. bad idea.

 | jakemr33 (6) 12/13/2004 | They are good, but too filling. I eat about 6 of them and can't finish the rest of the bowl. Your right Reilly, they do get pretty soggy. Good balance between frost and wheat.

 | Seraph (8) 10/13/2004 | Sadly, these are off-limits to vegetarians due to the gelatin content. I remember always making sure the white sugary side was face-down on the spoon so it would be the part to touch my tongue. I think the wheat side is just a feeble attempt to make this cereal look healthy to some degree. They should just go ahead and sugar up both sides!

 | Linda Micelotta (0) 09/27/2004 | I am addicted to FMW. I eat them as a snack instead of chips or candy and/or for breakfast. Anytime I'm hungry, I reach for the FMW. They are the perfect balance of sweets with lots of fiber!

 | architect (0) 09/13/2004 | Mini-wheats are a very versatile cereal. Whether soggy, dry, or semi moist after dropping them in milk, they taste good. Partly wholesome, partly sweet without being excessive, they leave you full for longer than other cereals. I've been eating them almost every night before going to sleep for almost 10 years (they're a fun cruncy snack.)

 | Janet S. Morgan (0) 07/08/2004 | I eat shredded wheats for their nutritional value; there is too much sugar on them! Please reduce the amount by half - they would be just as good!
(1 voted this helpful, 0 funny and 0 agree) |
 | hotel283 (20) 06/30/2004 | Not to bad at all. Don't know how long I could eat them continuously. Keeps a nice texture even when the milk seeps through.

 | starrpix (0) 04/27/2004 | Would be acceptable without gelatin
(1 voted this helpful, 0 funny and 0 agree) |
 | veenat (0) 04/25/2004 | These are pretty good, both dry and in milk. Although when it's in milk, you have to eat it pretty quick to keep the frosting from coming off and going in the milk. I really like the new maple and brown sugar kind....you can taste it much better. And it's high in fiber, which is even better.

 | steph1187 (0) 06/28/2003 | FMW are pretty good as a snack, i dont really like them with milk for some reason. Theyre very filling too! I recommend getting the mini ones over the original big frosted wheats...the big ones arnt very good at all-too wheaty.

 | Jason1972 (3) 11/01/2002 | This, along with Life, are the only cereals that have gone with me through my years, almost all of the cereals I had when I was a kid are too sugary sweet now but FMW are good because they have that wheat side to regulate the sweetness of each biscuit, it's good stuff.

 | princessangry (2) 12/04/2001 | Reall tasy and the are the cereal of chioce for me! I hate all those fake tasting cereals that have all those yellow no 5 and all those artifical junk-thingies in them. I love the natural sweetness of mini wheats! I love th frosting and i always eat the most forsted ones first!

 | Molfan (57) 06/15/2001 | Good cereal. Another one the whole family is willing to eat.this is important to me as the grocery shopper since cereal can be expensive. I love the fact it is plain on one side and sweetened on the other. It gives it just the right amount of sweetness to me.the small size is nice so you do not have to break it up with a spoon. Just pop it in your mouth.

 | callmetootie (4) 04/07/2001 | I don't know why, but I don't really care for frosted mini wheats that much. The frost on it tastes so unlike sugar would, and it tastes like tofu junk. I think that this stuff is organic or something.

 | dani91vw (0) 12/15/2000 | A good source of fiber. Sweet yet healthy. Affordable. I really like them. I eat them for dinner often because they are so filling. I've loved them since a young child.

 | tjohnson (0) 12/13/2000 | This cereal is OK. It tastes good, but then it doesn't. It is sweet, but then it is very dry, even with milk. The frosting is the best part. They should make them all frosted.

 | judo (0) 12/12/2000 | This cereal really does bring out two sides of you, each and every morning. The wholesome, nutritious side asking for wheat, and that side of your tongue asking for pure frosting!

 | cocokd (0) 12/10/2000 | Frosted Mini-Wheats are a classic, but I really like the new honey nut wheat stuff. I think the Frosted Mini-Wheats are too sweet.
(0 voted this helpful, 0 funny and 0 agree) |
 | PoorOldEdgarDerby (4) 10/18/2000 | One of the best. Frosted Mini-Eheats actually give some semblance of nutrition with all that Wheat! Along with that though you get the sugary frosting of it's flip side, just enough to make the Wheat side bearable. Also, the Mini-Wheat is far superior to the Larger version Frosted Wheat which is burdened by too much Wheat and not enough Frosting. Frosted Mini-Wheat has just the right proportion.

 | alicat (3) 06/16/2000 | Great cereal. I usually eat Frosted Mini Wheats as a snack dry. It is good for you but still has the frosting so it still tastes good.

 | umma6039om (0) 04/19/2000 | The brown sugar variety is my favorite cereal. The wheat squares are very well made, and the sugar really has a nice taste to it. It's best when you let the squares soak in the milk for a bit so they're softened up a bit. Good eats!

 | john430et (0) 12/16/1999 | I like Frosted Mini-Wheats well enough, but their real appeal is in the name. It's evocative and strange -- frosting is something you do to a cake, or it's a woman's hair treatment. But they're applying this treatment to a mini-wheat. What the hell's a mini-wheat, anyway? I'm enticed by the mystery of it all.

 | cind467om (0) 12/15/1999 | This cereal soaks up milk like crazy -- which is a great way to make sure you get in that daily calcium fix.
