Just come to my house. I have guns, ammo, and a spot of canned food...

A one, unless you plan on spending New Years with convinced...but then New Years' would suck unless you want to spend it with an unfunny American version of the   deranged German soldier character that  Kenneth Mars played in the original  The Producers.

Must be quite the New Years party if you need one of these.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Are you serious? It may be kind of fun, to make believe that something big's going to happen, add a little excitement in your life, but seriously . . . . .

Uhhh, I know there were a few people who panicked two years ago with the Y2K thing. However, I have no idea what afterglow70 was talking about. I live in the midwest and certianly did not see any more freezer grubbing, bunker building nuts here than apparently existed elsewhere in the country. As a matter of fact, I saw none at all. And, since we're talking parts of the country, how about those survivalist types out west? They don't even need a Y2K emergency to act like paranoid goofballs. No thanks, we managed to survive the 1999 New Year without a bunker - even without extra bottled water or canned food. I never even considered that we wouldn't.

I hope that not too many people went to this extreme as a result of Y2K. It's not as if there were plans for a massive meteor strike on Earth for the millenium. I think that panic brings out the worst in people and this is only another example of loony thinking at work.

I laugh at all the midwest freaks that had small bunkers made just for this Y2K thing. Some of my ignorant family members went out and bought hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of food and bought extra freezers to keep it in thinking that he world was coming to an end on Jan. 1st, 2000. For God sake people, your looooony!

I've always wanted a place to put all my survivalists. A bunker would be a GREAT place. Now where should I store all this extra food?

My bunker has chintz curtains and two comfortable chairs. I sit in my chair, grumbling about how the country's going to hell in a handbaskt, screaming at my wife to bring me a beer. I call it my Archie Bunker.

A bunker would be a fun place for a y2k party, but I can't see it serving much practical use.

All that you need to put in here is some extra cash and beer.
