01/17/2008 | Schroeder's the musical genius of the bunch (that's what I like about him), and he seems to be one of the most level-headed kids in the strip, despite the fact that the ever-persistent Lucy is always in his face. I'm surprised Schroeder hasn't completely lost his marbles considering all the many ways Lucy tried to destroy his piano in her sorry attempts to make Schroeder notice her. I like Schroeder's witty comebacks to Lucy.... for instance: Lucy once asked Schroeder if he thought a pretty girl is like a melody, and he replied that he couldn't say since he didn't know any pretty girls (that's tellin' her). If Lucy knew what was good for her, she'd leave the boy alone!

02/20/2005 | Schroeder's appearences are often pretty bland, as he rarely adds anything to the scenes and doesn't have much personality. He's sort of snobby and he can get annoying sometimes, however, he plays great music, especially considering that he plays it on a simple toy piano.

07/26/2003 | 1st of all, I love Shroeder! He's my favorite character. Schroeder is a kid who's superhero is Beethoven and has his own lil' grand piano which he plays on all the time. Lucy has a big crush on him. He gets sord-of annoyed at her when she talks to him while he's trying to play his classical music. Scroeder always has the good advice for the Peanuts characters. He's his own person and he's not afraid of it. As long as he has Beethoven in his heart, he'll always be 1 of a kind!

I simply adore him when he actually responds to Lucy's love. I read once a strip when Lucy remembers of L.v.B B-Day, and Schroeder kisses her.(WOW!) But SNOOPY gets in the middle and Lucy thinks he kissed her, and Schroeder tries to explain that he actually did it! (AAARGHH!!!)

02/23/2003 | Schroeder is the cool one of the bunch! He ended up being unidimensional, but in the 1955-1965 period he was Charlie Brown's best friend, he was the straightman to Charlie Brown and appeared more often. He really was funny when it came to praise Beethoven. Also it was so nice that a little fuzz/budget like Lucy who tortures everyone else got to suffer because of Shroeder's indifference. The classiest of the characters and also the only one of the unidimensional's who was funny. Also, my favourite moment by far in any of the Peanuts movies and tv series was when he plays a Beethoven piece in «Champion Charlie Brown»

03/29/2001 | Resident child prodigy Schroeder is so into his own little bubble that it's kind of hard to tell anything about him other than that he's obviously obsessed with the piano. When you think of how mean Lucy is to almost everyone, it seems to serve her right that she ends up having a crush on the one kid who has absolutely no interest in anything but music.
