03/22/2001 | Marcel was a cute little guy, but he just seemed to have kind of a mean little attitude going on. Monkeys always seem to be either scared, mad or both and willing to back it up with more than a nip on the finger. Considering Ross' semi-nuerotic personality, the unpredictability of a pet monkey made a fairly funny match for him - for about 5 minutes anyway.

10/26/2000 | I guess a cute little monkey could be a decent addition to a sitcom but Marcel wasn't really on the show that long, at least not long enough to really develop a personality that we could all appreciate. All though I'm all for more monkeys on television in general, Marcel wasn't the one. We need a monkey of the future that blazes the trail for more monkey roles and fewer characters like Ross..
