i am rating the movie not so much the dog. I really do not like a movie where an audience is encouraged to root for the dog to die. how awful. the poor dog is stricken with rabies goes "insane" and attacks a car with a kid and mommy. hell the kid was annoying anyway. not a fan of the movie.

Cujo was a nice dog before the rabies, but after he got the rabies he was creepy. I don't like seeing violent dogs.

This dog was not at fault for his disease. He got rabies, a dangerous disease. The dog is not at fault. It is the owners who ignored his plight.

Now, here we have a dog descended from a long line of St. Bernards - a breed developed for centuries to help mankind. And what happens? He gets the one disease that will cause him to go against all instinct and turn on people! He ends up with a beyond gruesome appearance, rabid and fighting an inner turmoil the magnitude of which is rarely faced by your average on-screen pet. Sad and frightening tale all the way around!

Cujo would have made a great pet if it were'nt for those damn bats! If Cujo were my dog the situation would have never gotten that far out of hand. At the first sign of anything wrong he would have been at the animal clinic. Wait..if he were my dog he would have already been vacsinated. Cujo the film is actually a great public service announcment when you think about it. Cujo was a good pup, until he stuck his nose where it didn't belong.

If I recall correctly, Cujo was a sweet, loyal dog until the rabbit from hell bit him on the nose. To this day, nothing beats walking into a dark, seemingly deserted house and whispering "Here Cujo, Here Cujo."
