After seeing USA's and CBS's extensive coverage of the US Open, I have to say that I enjoyed it throughly. Thanks to the Athens 2004 Summer Games on the networks of NBC, I became interested in Tennis! It's an exciting, fast-paced game. The sheer number of matches in the US Open and the tournament style certaintly put one in mind of the Olympics! It should be noted that I enjoy the Women's matches much more than the Men's.

I love to watch this tournament, but sometimes I have to turn the volume off if either one of the McEnroe brothers is talking. John is a biased know it all and Patrick just won't shutup, so I just watch in silence and let the action do the talking. Besides, you don't see many johnny come latelys win this one.

Grand slam tennis title, on home territory, I love it.

Big event, happens very near me. Don't really care either way about it though...

Its pretty good unless you go to it and have to pay 6.00 for a small soda.

I like tennis as much as the next guy, but what sets this major apart from the rest is the energy of the NYC crowd.

Next to Wimbledon, the best tennis major to watch. With Agassi back at the top of the rankings, the men's draw is getting more interesting, but I still have more fun watching the women. I get a kick out of seeing 16-year-old spoiled girls throwing temper tantrums when things don't go thier way. And of course there's always Anna Kournikova...
