if you want to play a more innocent game (ok, seriosly, these games we play, blating people apart, chopping limbs off, you have to agree with me) the sims is for you. Through getting a job to going to the bathroom, this game is for you. There id NO flaw in this game whatsoever (well ok, sometimes) but nothing major, the worse ive had is our old computer crashed, our VERY OLD computer. Anywho, Working to get promotions, slapping other sims, takes up a lot of time on your day and turns it into fun well-wasted

This is a unique game that allows you to become anyone you want to be. It lets you live out the life of the sims of your choice. You design the sim, you give them life, you can control their every move. Or you can allow them to live freestyle and only control partial aspects of their life. To me, the concept is awesome. The homebuilder is easy to understand and fun to use, and everyday there is something new designed by either maxis or a user made item you can download. Or create your own. Live life to the fullest. Sim Style!

A whole game where you can make an army of zombie slaves and control their lives at every waking second, what else could you want?

Ok anyone who doesn't know a sim game must be from Mars.. but here is my play on these games. The first time I heard of the sims I was thinking what the heck I have enough trouble trying to control my own kids why would I want some virtual ones to boss around? It took me several years past the initial release of original sims to actually buy it, and then when I bought it, I got it. It's a lot of fun. It's really like having a doll house with living dolls inside and a house that can be expanded and changed at will. I think the actual building of the houses and furnishing is the best and most addictive part for me, and when you look out on the web there are so many sites designed just for custom content and quite a lot of free stuff, that you can never get done remodelling your sim's homes. If only it was this easy in real life... 2 clicks and your room is done with wallpaper,paint,brick anything you like. Most of it is unrealistic when you get to playing, like money is out of proportion I mean you can buy 1 pizza for 40 dollars but a house for 20k fully furnished, it doesn't really make sense and also time doesn't seem quite right, like a person gets up in the morning and it takes 3 hours to get ready for work.There really is no point to this game and there is no ending, it's just supposed to be fun, and this is what it is.It gets boring after a while but then you always manage to come back to it again. Especially when they put out new expansions, it just rejuvenates the game over again.

If only the Sims didn't need to go to the bathroom every two minutes!

Really amusing and bizarre premise, though a continual barrage of expansions is needed to keep it from getting stale (for some people).

Like the Grreat Kman said, "The Sims needs to be stopped. With nukes." And Kman couldn't be more right. I mean, double-you tee eph is this? Some game simulating real life? It seems interesting at first but then it becomes a total waste of time. And no game should have more than one X-Pack. Five is WAAAAAY too much.

I cannot get enough of this game! It's really fun and there are some great websites out there where you can download new objects, floors, walls and skins. I have almost as much fun downloading new objects as I do playing the game itself. Check out 7deadlysims.com for the coolest objects.

If you can't download skins and furniture, and if you can't buy the expansion every six months, you'll have exhausted all this game's possibilities in 48 hours of game time.

One of the only great modern games, The Sims doesn't sacrifice graphics for playability. It's loads of fun, fully expandable, and I can see no end to add-ons in sight. Very addictive, who would have thought imitating real life would be fun? :)

extriemly boring...

A pretty cool game. You can build a house from scratch or you can do an already built home. and you can add things to the house to keep the Sim's energy up. the only downer is that sometime the sims will not listen to your commands. this is one of those stay up all nighter games. I reccomend this game to people who like building games.

I just happened to buy it one day, not really knowing what I was getting into. Well, I am soooo hooked on the darn thing that I won't let anyone else play it! I keep saying "Just a minute. I have to marry this sim to this sim first". Sheesh! If you can't control your own life, you can make up for it here! Just kidding. Its fun.

Alot of fun at first but gets boring after a while

Help, I can't stop! My guy Sim keeps getting turned down by the girl Sim who's in love with him and I can't stop meddling in their simulated lives!

This game will keep you up 'till 1 in the morning playing. It's even better if you have access to the internet. You'll find 100's of fan pages with add-ons to make the game even MORE intresting and diverse(anything from skins, new objects, wallpaper and carpeting)! That's what i like about this game, there's so diffrent things to make your sims do, and so many diffrent ways to build houses- if your creative enough this game will keep you playing. The expansion pack is good, offering 5 diffrent neighborhoods insted of the orginal 1 in the game. If you never buy another game in your life buy this one and kill some time playing it.

This game is really fun, and the expansion pack is a must have once you get this.
