Almost just as good as Yellowstone. Great mountain/lake scenery. Very cool.

The Tetons have a look about them like no other. I loved the wildlife and the closeness to Yellowstone!

Without a doubt, the Grand Tetons are the most picture perfect, beautiful mountains on the planet. I first saw them at six years old, and have been back a few times only to stand in awe each time. You can almost hear His voice ... "be still and know that I am God." Creation at it's finest!

It's pretty hard to beat the Grand Tetons for an incredible, picture perfect postcard sight. You arrive in Jackson and head out of the airport, turn the corner and there they are lunging up out of the plains. I lived out there for a ski season and everyday it was still such an amazing view. Driving up to the Tetons to go skiing you had this strange sense that they you were going to some man made structure because it was so out of place, it was be like seeing a 13,000 foot volcanoe in the middle of the ocean.

This park is absolutely beautiful. The snow-capped mountains are spectacular and there are lakes and streams all over. When I camped there, I woke up really early on my first morning to hike a trail that circled a big lake (Lake Jenny, I think). It was early enough that I was the only one on the trail, and after about 1/2 hour I turned a corner only to see a bear about 20 or 30 yards in front of me. It was amazing. The bear saw me, scratched a tree for a while, kind of charged towards me a couple times and reared up (but never got close), and finally trotted down towards the lake. A great moment like that kind of made the rest of my stay at Teton a little anti-climactic, but I'll never forget it. Teton has great trails and some of the most scenic mountain views in the entire country.
