The graphics were pretty good at the time it came out, and to this day I think it might have the best season/story mode of any of the Smackdown! series.  The storylines weren't elaborate, but it was multiplayer, and it didn't end after a couple seasons worth like most of the newer games. The create-a-wrestler part was pretty pathetic, but at least you could make your own wrestler, and it's the movesets and not the appearance that matter in the end anyway.

This is a pretty good game. It has heaps to do and you can play it for hours and still not get bored with it. It has really good graphics and overall it's definitely a game worth playing.

This wrestling game may be or is one of the best games. I liked it because the graphics look great. The gameplay is not too hard. The game stayed true to the wrestlers using their signature moves and holds. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no commentary, it was just silent with music.

This game is alright but I think they could have done much better with the graphics and the moves. I think they should have had more moves in the game.

By far one of the best wrestling games ever created for Playstation. Whenever I played, there was never a dull moment. Also, most of the moves were easy to execute. The create a wrestler mode added a bit more spice to all the fun.

Personally I do not like WWF Smackdown. The players move too slow and it's a bad influence on younger children who try and do the moves on their younger siblings.

Less buttons, so it's harder to do specific moves. Backstage levels are cool. The different modes of gameplay are good. No two player tag team medal competition.

Smackdown is a good game, because everybody loves wrestling on TV. But when you play it you can be any wrestler you want to be.

I really don't like this game. It's fake, the wrestlers ain't real. They don't have good moves, the sound isn't good, and it's hard to play.

WWF Smackdown allows players to successfully play as their favorite character. Players are gratified as they are able to experience finishing moves. Making your own character is always great.

A lot of good ole' fun! It's even more entertaining playing against friends in different modes such as anywhere falls or cage matches. Plus you can use a lot of weapons in fights, like a chain, a steel rod, and belts, etc.

Excellent game, but I'm partially biased because of my love for wrestling. Secret characters to unlock and a very easy to play\easy to learn format.

I don't like it very much because they are too violent. Children aren't supposed to be playing these games that are so violent. I think that they should come out with games that aren't too violent for children.

I like it because it looks real. The characters get really into it. It's fun because I'm able to play against other people, and it seems as if I'm really watching it live. It's a lot of fun, and I especially like The Rock!

It is a terrible game. The gameplay absoulutely sucks. I personally think that WWF tried to put out a game to match its competitors. There is no commentary, and the players don't have their famous lines. They should have stuck with Acclaim instead of going with ThQ this time.

I love wrestling, and I love this game. The best part about this game are the signature moves and creating your own characters. They should come out with WWF vs. WCW, but that would be pointless because most of the WCW superstars are in the WWF.
