03/17/2008 | This a terrific newspaper; I can always trust their unbiased professional reports. Stories are short and to the point. I enjoy their well thoughtout commentary although I may not always fully agree -- I respect their persepctive. The CSM is one paper that I read every day on line where I do not have to way for delivery. When viewing it on a large computer LCD monitor, I can enlarge text, copy and paste text, and review archieves.

01/16/2005 | very good newspaper. Concentrates on meaty news and issues, not celebrity junk. Presents news of interest to anyone that's interested in humanity around the world, and the world itself. Seems to me to be quite unbiased as far as political slant.
Religious view is totally absent except for one daily article found near the back of the paper.

I have read the Monitor for years. It's an objective paper, with quality writing and content. The articles contain enough background so the content retains value. It's my desert island newspaper. Bye, Bill

09/18/2003 | Good newspaper - although it's never more than about 15-20 pages. What it covers it covers well and that's foreign and domestic news, book reviews, the arts, and films. The Monitor's correspondents report from all over the world.
The paper has won Pulitzer Prizes for various types of coverage.

02/16/2003 | Fake religion with flakely adherents. Remember Mary Baker Eddy is the Son of God. So they can't even get even figure out the whole gender thing.
