She is usually the practical one in the family. She has gotten a lil wild in the latest episodes, but really shes plays a normal loving mom pretty good.

People think Marge is as unfunny and boring as a Simpsons character can get. Thats absolutely wrong! You need to keep your eyes open- she is a great character and she IS funny. We need more people like her in the world. I'll admit, there was one time where she REALLY annoyed me, but it was for the best.I'm glad she picked Homer, and not Artie Ziff.

She deserves 5 stars for dealing with Homer and Bart and not going insane.

Her paranoia's about the family made her annoying during the show's first seasons but Marge Simpson just seems to get more relevant and funny with every passing season while at the same time acting like a real mother would when it comes to her family.

Why must the female be always the straight man in the average tv couple? Why must Marge be almost a non-entity on this show?

Marge really carries the show sometimes.

Marge should be declared a saint for putting up with Homer all these years. She must really love him. I love Homer, but I wouldn't want to live with him.

Marge was unfunny in the begginning, but she's coming back slowly.

Slowly, Marge is getting the depth that Homer and Bart enjoy.

I just love to listen to Marge's voice, played by Julie Kavner. It's a voice that's so deep and gruff and gravelly that you can't help but love it. Also, she's a very good mom in her own way.

I know I might get hate mail from some Marge fans, but I think she is kind of a, well, witch with a 'B', if you know what I mean. I'm surprised Homer's stayed with her all this time. But it's a cartoon, so...

Marge Simpson is the mother and wife of The Simpsons. she has tall, blue hair and she has two sisters, Patty and Selma. I remember when she broke her leg at the ski lodge. She is still a good character.

In comparison to the other characters on the show she serves mainly as filler and never does anything that is laugh out loud funny. Don't get me wrong I love the Simpsons but I don't think she deserves to be rated as high as the other characters so that's why I had to give her a low score.
