Ms Skinner 08/07/2004
I suppose these two women are made to be disliked..or not. Who in their right minds would fall in love with these two horrible women? I dont hate them or anything, and they do bring SOME amusement to the show, but to that person that actually thinks their SEXY, get a life!I mean, come on! Smokers and unshaved...eeeurgh, I dont even want to think about it. I'm just really, REALLY glad Patty rejected Seymour Skinner, or I would have died (wait a moment, I'm contradicting myself because Seymours my favourite and he fell in love with her...but I guess getting over Patty and moving on to Mrs Krabbapel kind of compensated. Or maybe he just didn't know her well enough...yeah, thats it)

They don't really provide an asset to the show. They're portrayed as low life nicotine-craving broads that don't get a lot out of life and they sure don't show a lot of respect and affection unless you're a two dimensional Russel Crowe or Richard Dean Anderson.

I've never found anything enjoyable about these two. They're boring, boring, boring. I mean when Patty (or was it Selma I could care less) married Troy McClure and Side Show Bob, it was a low point of Simpson history. Patty & Selma have no personality, no karisma and are severly lacking of any form of deepth. If I know they're gonna be on, I'd rather not watch the show.

Homer's biggest adversaries and repulsive women.

I don't think Patty and Selma are that bad, in fact I sort of think that it's because everyone dislikes them that the creators did a great job of portraying them as lousy slovenly people. You're not supposed to like them. Best Patty and Selma moments...the previously mention foot massages...when Bart and Lisa go to sleep at they're house and each of them has to sleep in the same bed with one of the sisters...Troy Mclure marrying one of them...everytime they light up a cancer stick.

I don't know why they need to create characters like Patty and Selma. I just don't see the use of them.

I don't know if I am giving them a 1 as characters, or at the horror I felt on behalf of Sideshow Bob when he had to periodically give foot massages to one of them.
