Seymour skinner- that name is even ear catching. He is such a fantastic supporting character to everyone, it's amazing how some people can hate him. Sure, he might be to most a big weiner, but thats his role in The simpsons! Without him, the Bart Simpson star would shine a little less brightly, since he is such an important character(associated to bart), being the constant victim of countless pranks and STILL living with his mother. I have to admit, he may be a weiner, but this weiner is the greatest one of all. I love this guy.

The Al Gore of principals. How he is still a principal surprises even me.

Seymour Skinner is such a great character that I'm really surprised he hasn't attracted a bigger response round here. In short, the hapless elementary school principal/Vietnam veteran desperately out of touch with the world outside of school, who always winds up as an easy target for Bart's pranks, he's a crucial character to the show, and one who you've got to love for who he is - serious and solemn, yet with a fairly childish outlook of life himself. The major difference between Skinner and most other TV adults with the mind of a child is that Skinner has the mind of a well-behaved one! It occurred to me recently that Skinner could well be the version of Norman Bates, of 'Psycho' fame, if his mother really had been there and taunting him - for starters the house that he lives in with his cantankerous old mother bears an uncanny resemblance to that of Bates! Other elements of his character also appear to be lifted from Hitchcock films, for example, in one episode in which he tears up a flight of stairs and has to contend with a fear of heights lifted directly from 'Vertigo'. Poor Skinner always ends up being terroised by everyone around him, particularly the local Superintendant, who always turns up when Skinner needs him the least, but anyone who's ever tried to earn respect from people who just won't accept them should get the picture. Go, Skinner!

Principal Skinner is the Principal of Springfield School and he still lives with his mom. he once was a fraud and the real skinner did not last long around the school. Skinner has to deal superintendent Chalmers who appears in a few episodes. skinner is a so-so character on the show

Skinner is so funny. Bart needs to torture him more.

Arman Tanzarian. His personality is so typical of that of an elementary school principal.
