I would always rate the Doctor's Show, to the highest star. They are so full of medical information. Even when watching every day I sometimes fell like I am there. All of the Doctor's have a great sence of humor. If any one would say any different they are just jealous of their fame. Keep up the great work Doctor's, and tell Dr Phill, that we watch him also. May God bless us all. Elmon [Peggy] Tolbert 166 Fairview Village Road Dunn NC 28334 1-910-591-6100

The 'Today Show' is pretty much the shittiest show I can think of w/second rate assholes as its hosts. I don't think I've ever seen a crappier piece of television history than the Today Show. It's pretty much a morning version of 'Entertainment Tonight.' Not too sure why people were mad at Obama for going on 'The View.' I'm sure if it were the 'Today Show' then it would be fine, but I really don't see a difference in the stupidness factor b/w the two shows.

That's it -- never again will I watch Hoda and Kathy Lee! They keep interrupting the guests every time there is something relevant the guest is telling the viewing audience. The show is all about them and that's not what I want -- Kathy Lee has always been an interruptor and now Hoda has caught the same bug! Stop it you ego-maniacal Kathy Lee and Hoda!!!!!

I loved the Today Show when Katie was still there. I like it now. But is no longer a Must See. Meredith was the best thing about The View. I've never watched it since she left. And I don't think Katie is great as anchor of the CBS Evening News. The three networks should work something out and let both women go back to their old jobs where they shined.

I will never watch the Today Show again! Meredith is just rude! Who wants to hear her opinions? The only person that thinks she is funny is herself. I just want the news - I don't want all her stupid feedback. The day of Couric or Lauer or Meredith are over. Move on!

The Today Show has turned into a Jerry Springer like waste of time. I am shocked that anyone consents to being interviewed after seeing the way that Meredith interrupts and cuts people off. They need to allot more time to interviews or just not have them. Some of the questions posed by both Matt and Meredith are only to feed the media hype instead of getting honest answers. This has rocketed downhill.

Matt and all the news cast is over paid. It makes me sick when they talk of high prices like it is going to cut into their pockets they have no need to worry if gas gets 20 dollars a gallon they will never worry about any price of anything its pennies to them

I am glad I always worked in the early morning and never got hooked on these fake news shows.  Now that I am able to watch them, I am glad for cable news shows, so I don't have to watch broadcast.  Simply horrible, I refuse to watch any show that Couric or Lauer are on period even if they are the only thing on TV.  Now that Viera is on there, fine, except I won't watch the show anyway.  Lauer has got to be the most OVERPAID whiner I have ever seen on TV!!

I like how Meredith Viera seems to be very secure and comfortable in her own skin - her humor is a lot more natural and easy-going than Katie Couric's, who always seemed to be a tad uncomfortable during more humorous segments/banters. That said, I can't help but state that Meredith Viera is also starting to get on my nerves. In my opinion, the "fun" on the Today show is about to take over everything, and she just can't let an opportunity pass to be funny or to get a laugh. Matt plays along way too much, and I find myself more and more thinking "Enough already!" - especially when they go on talking simultaneously for minutes and I can't understand a thing anyone is saying because in addition, the camera crew is roaring with laughter in the background. I guess it took this new anchor to really, really make me appreciate the art of Katie Couric who was truly a master at balancing the serious journalistic edge with the occasional(!) lightheartedness also required of a morning show ancho... The Today Show has got to get rid of Meredith. She is unprofesional and rude to the people she interviews and has no sincerity during serious topics. There is absolutely no chemistry between her and any of the others, they seem to "tolerate" her. Today she spoke of the president having his tail between his legs at the State of the Union address. She should know a lot agbout that topic because that is how she appears every day. She has insulted the president and I do not mean the person, I mean the office itself. She has insulted Hillary Clinton, Martha Stewart, Donald Trump as well as many of her not so famous guests. She has more than blurred the view on Rockerfeller Plaza. I am also curious as to why they are expanding the Today Show by another hour. It already feels like they are scrambling to ccover the 3 hours they now have. I thought I could continue to watch the Today Show because of Matt, Ann and Al, however I have moved over to GMA. The new set is also a didaster. T... Read more

I love when Katie wears short skirts. I think its really sexy to see a woman approaching 50 still wear short skirts and show off her legs. I'm gonna miss seeing Katies legs when she leaves but on the plus side, Meredith Viera has a set of legs on her to. She's another hot mature white woman who is still sexy at 50 so I look forward to her. I wonder why Anne Curry didn't get to take over Katies spot? Hmmmm. Natalie Morales is a good looking piece to.

The rotating set of female personalities on the “Today Show” represents a sad pack of Barbie-types. Trash theater in the making, as the desperate struggle to become the next "America's sweetheart" unfolds. Their behavior conjures images of a very desperate high school cheerleader competition. Narcistic to the point of absurdity, these "Breck" girls are a tad too focused on the superficial world of big hair, sexy legs and Manolo stilettos. A little less hairspray, please....

Matt is great but whats up with Katies crusty mouth every other week? Thay should keep her out of the wind! I can't wait until they go on vacation every year so we get to check out the great looking fill ins they use! This show is entertaining for about 2 days and then you can't wait to go to the weather channel!

They're down to earth and never act like their above us. I LOVE humor and go there to get my day started, with a cup of my favorite coffee. I love it when they travel and share their experiences with us; Places we only drean about. Keep up the good work guys! Oh, and leave Matt's hair alone. It looks good.

This show is by far the best entertainment/news morning program on network television. 1) Good Morning America gets all of their ideas from The Today Show. (i.e. weddings, summer concert series, etc.) 2) Nobody actually watches The Early Show. 3) The Today Show has a collection of four hosts (Katie Couric, Matt Lauer, Al Roker, and Ann Curry) that have been together for about nine years. They all have original personalities and at least Matt Lauer and Ann Curry are very nice and down-to-earth in person. Sure, Katie gets a bit out of hand sometimes, but that is pure entertainment. 4) The fill-ins are excellent, especially Natalie Morales of MSNBC, the sexiest woman on the planet who should be getting A LOT more air time.

Katie is one of the most biased journalist that has ever "graced" our t.v. screens. Not only is she biased, but behind that perky smile is a woman filled with hate. She doesn't show this side of herself very often, but when she does it's a scary thing! Politics brings out the worst in you, Katie...steer clear from it or ruin your career forever!

Out-right discusting! I have changed my morning viewing to Seseme Street. Who needs to have your day ruined by intrusive questions, gross decriptions of murder, and have people's very personal life be turned upsidedown by Katie and Matt! It bothers me the rest of the day-don't need that on my mind.

I don't watch it anymore because of Katie Couric. She is extremely annoying because she is excessively perky and annoying and the last thing in the world that I want to see or hear in the morning, a real pain and sooo phoney. If I were rating only her I would have given it a 1 but the other people are bearable and work hard. Thank God for remote controls.

Love it!!! I watch the Today Show religiously each morning. The only thing that irks me is that usually when they have a really good segnent, they bring it on in the 8am segment.. and by that time I have to leave for work. I think they need to bring these segments on during 7:30 - 8 am so that working people can also watch them.

The worst part of this show is their compulsion to interview the members of families of people that have just died in some disaster. "Gee, you're kid just got killed in a plane crash, how do you feel?", "Well Katie, we're sad" What exactly is the news value of that? Are we supposed to be surprised that they are sad? For some bizzare reason, NBC thinks that that type of interview is newsworthy and inflicts it on the Today Show viewers with increasing regularity.

I hate the fact that you have a third hour of Today. Our local channel shows Regis & Kelly so it is delayed until 10:00. I do not watch the third hour of Today. It has nothing of interest to me and just get boring after so many hours. It makes me resent the Today show at times.

YUK!!! Get rid of Katie Couric. She is NOT worth her 60 million dollar contract. She reads from a teleprompter just like anybody else could. Matt Lauer has become about as exciting as watching paint dry. Ms. Couric also has a bad habit of interviewing and then interupting her guests when they are speaking. Bryant Gumble (even though he appears very arrogant) Jane Clayson, Diane Sawyer and Charlie Gibson beat Matt and Katie hands down. Katalina

I have loved The Today Show ever since watching it as a child with my parents in the '60's. I enjoy Matt Lauer, Katie Couric, et al. I really like Soledad O'Brien and would like to see her get a bigger role. However, one irritant that seems to grow worse each week is Katie's constant interruption when interviewing her guests. It's as if she thinks her opinion is more important, and she is continually interjecting it in her interviews. I had to laugh at the irony when Katie chastised Chris Matthews for interrupting HER when she was interviewing HIM!! Katie, have a slice of humble pie and let your guests speak!!

  • by

    Tue Oct 30 2001

It is obvious that Katie and Matt can't get Al Gore out of their mind. Look at what happened to NY City. I believe Al and Bill were there when the first bombing occurred but what did they do. All of the events that recently happened were started when a do nothing president/vice president restructured government at the expense of the military. Katie and Matt watch a good news show switch to Fox.

There is enough free-floating anxiety these days to incite all kinds of violence. Lauer's coverage of the admittedly inconsequential evidence linking Hitler's hatred to homosexuality was alarmist and grossly irresponsible. There can be no doubt that this mornings coverage will incite fear, doubt and irrational responses in an already frightened population. In short, there is more than a strong possibility that someone will be hurt because of the hatred that was stirred today. I think Lauer is probably too intelligent not to make these connections; so he knowingly participated in the inciting of violence against gay people....I think Lauer should consider his actions...this was certainly damaging and irresponsible journalism...shame.

To be a five the weekend version of the show needs to be adjusted. Solidad has NO pizazz. Actually, neither do. I'm not sure who should replace, but they had some rather fun quirky people awhile back. It is a less formal format on the weekend, and in alot of areas there is no competition at this slot so instead of just sticking anchors in the spot, fill it with interesting ones. Ann Curry carries the weekday show!
