It is what it is. I'm guilty of watching 10 or 15 minutes of it from time to time.

though i like jerry springer himself i detest this show. i hate all the yelling. his guests have no morals and no pride. its stupid and negative not entertaining.

The reason he's so popular is cause so many people hate him. Like something someone said about OJ once... " Leave him alone and he'll go away". Even bratty children know that bad attention is better than none at all.

My all time favorite talk show host. The way he responds to some of his guest makes me LMAO!! Ya know when you are watchin his show, some mess bout' to go down.

This has got to be one of the worse if not the worse show in TV land. For those who don't know, Jerry had a great show in his real early years then he must have got new producers from Hades cause his show is trash in very plain words!

So dirty, you could watch this show and need to shower for five days to get the stink out! Disgusting, I used to like the show when it was good and aired late night, but when it got popular in the late 90's, it was embarassing. You should be ashamed to watch this!

It's difficult to tear apart a show that calls itself the worst show in the history of television. Let's just say you don't watch this because you want classy entertainment; you watch it because you're home sick, you don't have cable, and it's either this or Judge Hatchett. And if it's between I broke up with mah sister to date mah mama! and You screwed up cleaning my bathroom. Give me $200, I'm not ashamed to admit I'll go for the former.

people have their own opinion...yes, that is why america is such a wonderful place to be. if people don't like it don't watch it. myself, i like it. it's funny to think there is people out there that act like that, and would go to such an extreme to do such weird thing. but sometimes i know it has to be put on. come on, it's t.v. i love watching it when i can. The only reason to watch this show is to see bald Steve Wilkos (head of security). He doesn't do anything, he's just adorable! :-)

The Greatest! From trailor trash to ghetto guttermouths -- featuring America's stupidist people airing their dirty laundry on TV. With the poor state of broadcast news today, if any of these folk were famous Dan Rather and Larry King would be covering this material! How could YOU rate Jerry so low, you know YOU watch it. Hell, when I was in college I would not schedule classes when Jerry was on, a true escape from your own problems into someone elses self created HELL, the situations are so stupid you can't even get emotionally envolved. It's a COMEDY not a TALK SHOW...

This is a really sick show. It really isn't meant to help messed up families or couples with their problems. It's meant to let the audience get a luagh about women stripping and beating each other up. And men swearing their butts off and going at each other.

It may be trashy, but no more trashy than Oprah or Dr Phil.

Once again, if you don't like Jerry Springer or his show...do NOT watch it...no one is forcing you to watch it. Of course, Jerry and the people behind the scenes of the show want you to watch it so it will get higher ratings and will make money, but they aren't forcing anything on the American public. The fact that this show hasn't been cancelled after 12 years makes me feel that there is still hope that not everything is being censored completely. It is nice to be an American...actually it is wonderful and I am very grateful to live in a country where Jerry Springer is allowed to air his trashy show...long live Jerry and Steve !!!

I think the show is sick,and if it represents the real world then alot of people are going straight to hell and the people that watch it shall follow. And i dont like it so i dont watch for those who defend it. Your apart of it more then the people that go on the show.You all need Jesus and i will pray for you!

A really bad show. Fun to laugh at the pathetic losers on it though. Some woman who slept with her mother's hairdresser's husband's son and now is confessing.

The definition of Trash TV. Sure there are other useless TV shows (Friends, Boston Public), and overrated trashy movies (American Pie, Godfather), but almost every talk show these days is just overflowing with trash to an insane degree. This is no more evident that on the Jerry Springer Show. If you ever want to feel mad or depressed about humanity, then watch this. People featured here include people sleeping with just about anyone imaginable (and, yes, that does include...relatives), and not much else. Also, sadly, women in the audience are forced to flash their breasts in a voyeuristic display. This show needs to be taken out of the lineup, so that a classic sitcom, cool cartoon or Star Trek show can take its place! I'm sorry, but as far as television goes, I just don't want to face reality!

Once in a while I'll watch it just so I can make fun of it. What I can't understand is why do the women (fat, skinny, old, young) take off their clothes? The show is definitely fixed.

Terrible show, but if there's nothing else on, I guess I'd check it out.

i have always loved watching Jerry but i am very sad that i find it abit hard getting some of his videos etc. I had four of his videos but only have 1 left as i can't find the other 3 as the got stolen but someday i will get all of them. You go Jerry!!!!!!

This show went downhill severely when they cut out most of the violence. Nothing more entertaining that a fullgrown man beating the piss out of a midget who stole his wife. Nothing more enlightening than some 31-year-old tramp who looks about 55 calling her twice-pregnant 16-year-old daughter a tramp. Nothing more uplifting than some irresponsible jiggaboo making excuses to the four women he fathered bastards with why he can't make child support payments. These examples make up the heart and soul of America, friends. Frightening, isn't it?

I used to get a kick out of watching this mess back when I was younger, but now it's just boring. I mean it never changes: "I cheated on you....I'm gay.....I don't want you, I want him...." Now let's try to kill each other like senseless animals on TV. Anyway it was kinda funny for a while, but there's really no use in taking the time to watch this anymore. I mean there are plenty of trashy people to watch in every town anyway, right?

The Jerry Springer Show is funny and exciting, however, I have gotten to the point that I can't watch the show often because the people on there are faking and all Jerry does is crack jokes and there is no help for the people on this show because there stories are fake and staged. What's the point of arguing and fighting and the stories are not really true. I've watched all of Jerry's tapes on sell and they were exciting and over the edge, but Jerry Springer has lost all of his meaning and sanity to his show which I am almost to the point of wanting him to go off the air really soon. He needs do something else with his life.

There's only so many times you can try to make an entertaining show by having trailor park trash fight and curse at each other. It was funny at first, but now has become a recurring nightmare on television. Jerry Springer seems so intellegent- I don't see why he's wasting his time on this show.

If it's so you can feel better about yourself, as someone on this site suggested, PLEASE, PLEASE get help. If gaining a sense of superiority over fake trailer-trash freaks is what it takes to get you through the day, I feel very sorry for you.

The talk show that started the so-called wave of "trash TV" through the 90s and was recently voted by TV Guide as the worst show in the history of television, the Jerry Springer Show. Yeah, all of his guests and sometimes the audience are outrageous or just plain crazy, but that's just the way some people are in the world.
